He gives GD videos the perfect balance of humor and meaning, and does great justice to the songs. I'm glad I'm not alone on this! I think the way Sam Bayer went about making the videos was amazing and his style of filming is awesome. It felt like something completely new at the time. But I just don't feel like I have that same connection to Webb's GD videos. Damn, and Walking Contradiction truly is the best GD video, EVER. I prefer Green Day videos to have different styles after a while. I thought that Sam Bayer was too commercial. Firstly these screen caps are awesome so thanks to whoever got them to us. Secondly i actually dont mind Green Day Videos I really like walking contradiction, Waiting, 21CB.. I loved 21 guns when it first came out, but i think it was more the excitement of a new video as opposed to the actual video... Im probably going to get burned for this, but i think music vidoes are a nessescary fad that is just not going away. Vidoes take away from the music and lyrics and make the song about the actual vidoe.. I still love green day videos and watch them too much..but that my view on music vidoes in general.... The reason i love those videos is because they werent complicated.. i think vidoes now have too much graphics and effects... I have to say i like 21cb video but its just too much.... (Maybe more, but I can't think of any other vid). I love Longview cause it's video isn't too complicated, and I like the scene at the end with all the feathers (: Reminds me of 21 Guns Only 4 days to wait till we can see the LOTAG video. Yay! Same with Nice Guys Finish Last; love that video too (especially the coach in there, he's absolutely hilarious). Come to think about it, all their videos are good, it's just impossible to choose...
