Velocity
Gotta be Social D. GD's cover of ASoM was pretty good and I'm sure both being California punk bands (albeit NorCal and SoCal) they know each other a little bit. This, this, and this. I could see Rancid, Bad Religion, the Gaslight Anthem, or the Bouncing Souls too but Social D would be completely perfect.

Sarcasm
I want Paramore and Green Day to cover eachother, I've always wanted that since All we Know is falling :3 I think Blink would be buried under Green Day if they made something together, same goes for Sum41. Kilgores
Hm...maybe Offspring, All-American Rejects, Foo Fighters...I can imagine a real hard and energetic song But..an old-school styled Green Day song with Lady Gaga..uhh it would be a huge hit! Annie, get your gun
If it would still exists, a collaboration with Letters To Cleo. I'd love to see the curious result of a song if they wrote one together. (too much asking) And maybe Paramore too, why not...?

Got to agree with you, Green Day and MCR would be the most beautiful combination ever! Just thinking of other bands they could collab with. I think You Me At Six could sound great with Green Day! Apologies for anyone outside of the UK who hasn't heard of them.

Since I live in the US, alot of people I know have never heard of them, but that'd be a good collab.

Lindsey Love
I would love to seen Green Day work with Tiger Army. It might be a bit of a challenge to find a balance between them, but if they did it would be spectacular. Definitely Joan Jett and Rancid. Maybe Cheap Trick? That would be pretty cool. uhleckseee
Whoever said Lady Gaga: YES. We all know they're fans of each other, that would be amazing for them both to collaborate with each other. Personally, I'd like to see them collaborate with a heavier band like Queens of the Stone Age or even a band like The Strokes.
Brian Gag
While he's not so much of an established musician, I think Rocky needs to do lead vocals on at least one Green Day single. His rendition of "Last Night on Earth" captivated me. And when I found out he'd also done a version of "Gloria," I beamed with joy. But I think a brand new song needs to be written just for him to sing.
Penguin Puffball
I think a Green Day/MCR combination would be absolutely amazing. As well as Green Day with Rise Against.
