It's not, Spotify haves cover of the single and it includes those stars.

Umm... no it's not wrong... like sampy pointed out.

And I'm pretty sure it is the official one since it is also on a couple country's iTunes stores already

and Viva La Gloria

I really hope this video isn't stupid and/or predictable. I know it has great potential, but I have a strong feeling I'll be let down.

8 singles? No way. The album and singles aren't doing great (they're not doing bad at all, but no big hits or anything). I think there will be 5 or 6 singles at maximum.

and I want this video.

I really don't think they're doing that well. 99% of my school didn't know Green Day made a new album.

Back in 2004-2006 with American Idiot, a lot of people in my school may have said they hated them, but they knew their singles.

I feel Green Day is almost invisible now.

I mention them and they're like "They're still a band?"

They haven't even bothered really with promoting the "singles" that are out there...take the case of east jesus nowhere for example...not even having a proper video...

By "Single" it'd be limited mostly to cover-art + video in my opinion for any future singles....not really released as such...

Pity they haven't really put much into the singles out there...:/

but 8 months after album released...and we're on the 5th "single"......and thats not including the 21 guns musical version, which also has a video coming out.

There's been live videos posted for murder city...and another song or two i forget....

They haven't really gone into the whole story/concept of the album in the videos so far...the whole christian/gloria thing....know your enemy/east jesus nowhere having no mention of them...

unlike american idiot where there was the strong releases of the title track,

then the jesus of surburbia/holiday/september videos all which linked into each other.....and the whatsername video which wasn't officially released...

I think the band might try hard with a last 3 singles......to really define the album :)

I mean...my whole idea of 8 singles is crazy...but it could work......and might happen.

Hmm, from what I've noticed most people here know Know Your Enemy or 21 Guns. But I can't compare it to the American Idiot era, so idk.

And I thought that even though apparently they're not doing too well, the album sales weren't bad.

But 8 singles really is a lot of singles. I mean, I won't complain if it happens, but it just seems very unlikely. American Idiot had 5 singles (right? I thought 6, but then I counted.....). I don't see 8 singles happening.

And the live videos aren't singles, they're just .. well idk what they actually are, just cool live montages with the album song.

I think it's good they haven't gone with the concept thing, 21st Century Breakdown has a way more vague storyline than American Idiot, it'd probably be just confusing for people who don't own the album if they made videos with the storyline of the album in it. I think they did it just right with the characters, they made it clear who Gloria and Christian are for the videos, but no complicated stuff (although I still think that 21 Guns is too focused on C&G, but that's a different subject)

American Idiot had 5 singles/13 tracks. (and a promo live st.jimmy video, from biab for tv viewing)

21cb has 18 tracks in comparision....so y'know....

they just seem to be throwing out as many singles as possible atm.....seems plausible..

yeah i know about the live videos..cept east jesus nowhere....but that was merely a live video really...

Hmm, I don't think you can predict/say/base (I'm sorry, I can't find the right word) the amount of singles on the amount of tracks on the album. Also, it wouldn't make sense for Warner to put out that big amount of singles, it probably won't or hardly boost the album sales, which is what it's all about in the end for them (Warner, not Green Day).

My guess is either the beginning or middle of next month. 21st Century Breakdown came out about a month after they announced it. I don't remember but was Last Of The American Girls one of the 6 songs that they played on the radio last year before the album came out. I don't think so. I do remember Before The Lobotomy and Restless Heart Syndrome being 2 of the songs from that list that still haven't been released. So maybe.

But maybe the reason why 21CB came out a month after was because of all the effects in the video which I'm sure took a while. I don't think LOTAG will take that long (hopefully anyway)
