I'm never doing the pit again after what happened at the AFI concert. This is Green Day were talking about. I want to enjoy them rather then worry about my glasses and not being able to see. I know from the stands it's harder to get on stage but I'm going to still try

I'd go with my other Green Day loving friend, but she said she doesn't want to get GA tickets. :(

I have a friend who likes Green Day, and said she'd love to see them with me. But she only knows 21CB, and some AI songs. Like Heather said, I would freak out over a song like Going to Pasalacqua, and she'd be one of the many standing there like "What's this?"

But she understands how much I love them, so she'd be ok to bring. And I also have my brother who has dealt with my Green Day love for 6 years, and he knows all the songs thanks to me, so he'd be great. :D

i would take your friend to the concert give her some Green day education :)

I've never gone to a show in the pit, but I think for Green Day, I might try to get pit tickets...I'm not in an area where pit tickets will sell out immediately, at least I hope not! Ohio/Michigan is a decent sized market, but I think that, especially with the way the economy's hit us, I'd have a chance to buy them.

I CONCUR!!! im so getting floor tickets to the rest of the GD concerts i will be attending. saving all my money already! im hoping they will play around Chicago more than just once on the next US tour because those are like the only concerts i could go to or i would have to get someone else to drive me to the other shows outside of IL because i know my dad would never go out of state for me and my sister to go see Green Day(only if it was in WI then he might be fine with it) :/

I wouldn't be able to be in seats in a GD show after being in the pit at one already. The pit is rough, but it's so worth it when they are feet, inches away from you.

I have two friends like that too. One of them I took to the Nokia show and she still had a blast even when they played some songs she wasn't aware of. As for my other friend, it's quite opposite. She hasn't listened to 21CB in it's entirety but would go crazy if she heard them play Going to Pasalacqua.

I would always want to be in the pit whatever which band!

I agree with both of you. That's the best part about going to shows, too!

But it's much more fun being in the pit! Besides Green Day pits aren't that bad.

My mom said that I can go to more than one of their shows when they tour!

However, I do have a problem: who I am going with. I'm not allowed to go alone, but I really don't want to take any of my friends to see them.

They couldn't ever appreciate Green Day live the way I do, and I don't have any close friends who I'd want to share the experience with. I guess I'll just have to travel and meet some GDCers to go to shows with!

true ^

none of my friends listen to green day. i know one guy who likes them but he's an acquaintance so it'd be weird to go with him. green day's actually pretty underrated. PEOPLE ARE FREAKIN INSANE. they have no idea how amazing they are.

I know! I was really close to the stage, and it was just surreal, y'know? it's like THEY WERE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!

It was an indescribable feeling, for sure.

YES! My grandma is giving me 50 dollers for christmas.

Green Day fund: $350.50

I know I was like in awe being right neat the stage and just looking up seeing Billie and mike plus the rest of the guys up close.

I don't think i'm going in the smack front of the stage again though.

oh I'm aiming to be as close as I possibly can to the stage.

I am too, just not at the smack center.

I want to go more to the left or closer where Mike stands.

Dear god,

Next year is really going to be Green. New GD tour, which will almost definately mean new Green Day live videos, and then a Green Day video game! God, 2010 is gonna be awesome.
