Michael128
not sure if this is really worth mentioning, but i will anyways http://www.popeater.ca/2009/12/01/top-albums-decade/ 9. Green Day -- 'American Idiot' Green DayYes, it's a great rock record of the decade, but its smash success (Grammys included) and the immediacy of the songs on this concept album also make it a universal pop smash too. No disc of the decade was more direct at speaking for a lost generation. From the thrilling title track to the nine-minute 'Jesus of Suburbia' suite to the radio-ready fury of 'Holiday' to the heart-shattering 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' make it an album that the punks could celebrate with their parents. And those are just the first four tracks we're mentioning.

watsername182
Green Day seem so out of place on that list. At least they acknowledged that it was a rock record as well.
HoneyDo666
Yay! Good list! They're in good company, well Kanye can suck it, but other than that!
frankiessister
Green Day, Gorillaz, Outkast and Amy Winehouse can stay -in this order-, the rest is horseshit and needs to get kicked out of that list. Just my humble opinion.
