The thing I mentioned a couple days ago, that project thing called King for a Day? (don't think anyone remembers but eh). Yesterday the thing was at school, and now I have two King for a Day stickers xD There was also something, and I couldn't hear the music properly because there was a lot of noise, but the start of it sounded SO MUCH like the chords from 21stCB. I did a double take when I first heard it, then realized it wasn't actually 21stCB, just something that sounded like it. Then 30 minutes later I walked past it again, heard it again, and did another double take before I realized it was that same thing. xD

I also have a note in my cell phone saying "Fuck time" but I don't remember where the reference came from...

And today in class a couple people were talking about what 'camino' meant but it wasn't in their Spanish books  I was very tempted to tell them what it means but didn't do it in the end because it'd take some explaining how the fuck I'd know that.

I was looking on a news site and suddenly I saw a pic of Green Day

(It's about Christian exam students who are complaining about JOS. They had to listen to it during their music exam and they think the lyrics are 'destructive and depressing' xD)

And a stupid reference; In a comic book I'm reading now they say 'You know' a lot of times xD

Someone's license plate I saw on my way to school started with "REV". It's weird because my friends and I have been all fangirl over the Rev for a good 24 hours or so.

We're learning about ballads in my english class and the teacher said we could pick a song that's a ballad and analyze it. As long as the lyrics told a story she would allow it, so I gave her the lyrics to Welcome to Paradise and she said they'd work, but she also said "That's an old song, that's off Dookie" I love my teacher

I was sitting out in the living room and my mom asked me if I would put the corn in to cook when it's time, and I was like, " You just gave me something." And...

Well, ran off here to post it.

I think they're wondering what the hell I meant, though.

I don't know if someone has already posted this, but in the Bomb the Music Industry! song All Ages Shows, there's a part where they sing:

In a trashed room in 1996.

A fourteen year old punk and in a flash I'm my parents.

And we'll never know love, 'cause I was too busy talking to my Green Day posters

They never said nothing to me.

It's an awesome song, so if anyone wants to listen, you can go here. The mentioned part starts at about the two-minute mark. :)

Not horribly random, but I've been watching Sabrina on YouTube, and in one episode, there's a random GD poster in the background. :D

Really? You don't happen to remember the episode, do you? That show was my shit in elementary school!

I was watching Rugrats (YES BITCHES IT WAS ON NICKTOONS MY NIGHT WAS MADE) and one of the character's names was "Billie Joe."

I ALWAYS come across Green Day references.

Most recently, I was on the flight over from Dublin for the Manchester show and the background music playing was that Eine Klein Nacthmusik by Mozart. Y'know, the little song he kept making everyone sing throughout the shows? <img src="http://www.greendaycommunity.org/Forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Anyway I thought "Wow, that's mad!" and then looked out the window and saw a big van with the letters FOD on them. I was like "Amazing!!"

There's also these stencils I found around Dublin

<a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v115/Izzyh/3-2.jpg" target="_blank">http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v115/Izzyh/3-2.jpg</a>

<a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v115/Izzyh/2-2.jpg" target="_blank">http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v115/Izzyh/2-2.jpg</a>

and my favourite <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v115/Izzyh/Image001.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

I'm in Dublin practically every day! I would have freaked out if I saw a Green Day van! I didn't see those stencils but there was one on Dame St which was just the album cover in black and white on the wall. Made my day!

It means 'way'. Both way as in a road, and a way to do something.

(someone Spanish, correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just reciting what my dictionary says, haha)

I watched Freaky Friday the other day. Lindsay Lohan's character had a Green Day poster in her room.

My mom and my dad were talking about some doctor they knew, and my dad had forgotten his name and said "I remembered his face but I don't remember his name" which reminded me of "I remember the face, but I can't recall the name..." :whistle

I think that I'm really crazy, because I see a reference absolutely everywhere.

I had 86% from my exam,I saw a cd with sign : "J.A.R." in music shop, I watched TV and I saw director's name - Mike White... (at that moment I said something like: Ooh,Mike and Jason together in one :D ) and more and more things seems like reference for me...

There was just a story on the news about these guys abusing cattle, and one of the guys' names is Billie Joe.

Or maybe it's Billy Joe, I didn't see his name on the screen.

I was watching an episode of The Mentalist just there and they mentioned Berkeley twice and Oakland once....that's the second episode where they've made reference to those places a few times throughout. I'm convinced one of the writers is a Green Day fan

I was watching Cheers and one of the waitresses was talking to some guy and she said, "Come on, you have to go back to your house Billie Joe...something, something, something." and the closed caption on my TV spelled Billie the right way, too.
