Thececilie
well i live en denmark so i almost never hear anything in english, so its not that often that i hear/see any references... but i often think on GD because i hear something... it just isnt a reference and that is why i dont post it here. if that made any sense? Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love
I don't even know all the lyrics. You don't have to know all the lyrics to see a reference. I mean, the things like expressions in Spongebob, okay, but there are more than enough references that really aren't hard or anything.
newsflash777
this MLIA. Today, I tried number 14 of 333 ways to get kicked out of walmart, "Grab a guitar and start singing Wake Me Up When September Ends in a loud shrieking half screaming voice." I got kicked out pretty quickly. MLIA ...not quite sure how to react on that Ahahahaha!

The Muffin
Some lyrics from a RDJ song go "Fink I'll grab some magazine". I checked it, it's not THink, it's Fink edit: another one! from Ally McBeal: "...blah blah blah, she's not working here any more, she moved to [Foxboro]" it's Foxborough actually, but sounded 'Foxboro'

Marki.
I have just noticed the word 'Gunpowder' on the tea boxes in the kitchen I was at my grandmother's house a few days ago and I had to take a picture of this, because I don't know why I never noticed it before... And I found there some old english magazine and I saw like 10 GD references in every article... Of course I had to take photos of everything... Y'know, English is not my first language so I usually see references in every word because I know a lot of them just from Green Day songs... When I saw lost and found in one sentence I was like omg Are we the waiting and 21st CB And Now I want more 'Cause I'm getting bored And I'm going nowhere fast And I've been listening to Too much too soon a lot lately so when I saw this... Too much too soon, too little and now you're coming unglued.... I just never saw these words anywhere before

whizzingbullet
Oh I was driving past this subdivision and saw graffiti that said "21ST CENTURY BREAKDOWN" on one of the chairs. That was a long time ago though. Those exact words in graffiti kept popping out all over Manila when the album came out. It was crazy.

Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love
I saw the poster with "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" again, and in the same room, a box that said "Lost and Found!!" (including the capitalized letters (and exclamation marks, haha), and it was in English). And in a test, someone did something at 10:16, which reminded me of Green Day because it's the .. American, I think? way/order of writing October 16th <3 And I saw a street sign that said '86' (it only said 86. Well, and some small text below it, but it wasn't something like *city* 86 km or something)

When I was in a store at the mall I saw this shirt that said "grenade" on it, and when I got a full look at it, the art on the front looked a lot like the heart grenade from American Idiot Except it was green...
