Green Day References

School probably  In 2005 we got an assignment in English class, we got a stencil with Green Day on it, and the lyrics of BOBD written underneath their photo. Some of the lyrics were left out, and the assignment was to fill in the 'missing words'.

School can't get better than this

I had a lecture recently where they mentioned 21st century breakdown, uptight, mass hysteria, jaded, redundant, minority and do da da all in just general conversation. It amused me

Plus I'm the class of '13 and they were going on about that alot during Freshers Week.

Oh I see Green Day related stuff in way too many things really.

For example, I'm totally happy because I got seat 86 on the train next week and drive back in cabin 16.

And my mom was very surprised when I photographed the street sign for "east 12th st." with a big grin on my face. :D

I was on the bus home from college sitting on the top deck and we stopped at a bus stop, as buses tend to do. I was on the bus that the Dartford Grammar schools use for their pupils who live in my area. [Note: it's a public bus company, I wasn't stalking school children] I looked out of the window and saw some kid on a ladder sticking a Green Day sticker over a Fall Out Boy sticker.

It was a nice lift to an otherwise long and boring day.

I was talking to my friend one time about another friend and she said "He's a disappearing boy"

I laughed for like 5 minutes and she thought I was crazy :ninja:

apperently my dad noticed that in 2012, when they're in the grocery store, and the lady's basket rolls away, it rolls past a shelf of magazines, and GD is on the cover of one of the magazines. im not sure if he's just pulling my leg, but i didnt see, so im not sure. any verification?

I saw a poster in my school of some cat sitting in the dark/rain dunno with "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" under it. I still haven't figured out whether it's made after the song or just a coincidence xD

LOL! at school, everytime someone said something about a ballerina, I laugh (because of the rumour thread). And it was somethingelse that made me laugh... OH, YEAH! EVERYONE SAYS Y'KNOW BECAUSE OF ME!

and we all speak spanish xD

I finally got to the page 80 of the copybook where I write my shit :D I wrote it "please keep taking me away" under the number written by me xD

Also, I was in my english class, and we were in the SmartBoard, so I ran to the screen when the teacher wasn't looking and my classmates were going, so me and my best friend watched 21st Century Breakdown, while I was talking to the teacher. I found out she likes Green Day O.o

i got so excited when i visited London this summer and noticed that!

i actually laughed out loud when i went into Heathrow's bathrooms and saw that. My mom was with me and thought i had just gone crazy after the plane ride

oh another note, i pass by Stewart Ave everyday driving to school. Too bad its spelled incorrectly :/

The bathroom thing is HILARIOUS! I would have died.

This made me laugh out loud, now my roommie probably thinks I am insane

It cracks me up sometimes when I hear myself saying "y'know?" more often that normal...

I was in a Mc Donalds in LA once and there was a photo with "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" written on it. And around last year a saw a sign for "Foxburrow Showhouse," near where I live, the spelling's a little off but it still reminded me of gd.

This is going to sound really silly, but I was just petting my dog and realised that she has a big, blonde tuft of hair sticking out of her ear. I LOL'd. :P

My friend once ordered an orange mocha frappucino

I wanted that when I went to Starbucks for the first and only time. Unfortunately, they only had mocha frappucino :(

probably more of a reference to the James Dean picture.

but I'd claim it as Green Day. :D

although I do love James Dean...

Every time I hear a score or something having to do with the number 21 I always think of 21 Guns and start singing the song.

(I don't know if has something to do with Green Day but I thought so  )

In the cartoon called Johnny Test, Johnny has a dog called Dookie (it's spelled "Dukey" but it's pronounce Dookie)

no it's not a green day reference, the dog's actual name would have been Duke.. but you know what people are like with animals and altering the name slightly
