Someone said Basket Case on the radio and later on the played the first line from American Idiot to make a joke about something.

I just heard a commercial on TV and the guitar it had in the background sounded really like the part in Basket Case right after the chorus.

Well, since I'm in France right now, I try to use the phrase "c'est très cool" as much as possible. ^^

Oh and my exchange partner says "They are fashion victims" quite often , I have to smile everytime she does it.

You can find a lot of references driving down a highway:

I saw a billboard for BJ's Western Shop

There was one of those light up sign thingies on the side of the road that said 216B, but when I glanced at it at first I thought it said 21CB

And they played She on the radio! :woot:

(And BOBD, but that's nothing new)

Today I found out that my godfather, when he was yunger, went on GD concert. There won't be anything special in this news, except the fact this gig was in very very small city in Poland (Gryfino) in 1991! He has photos with BJ and Mike and somewhere- the audio of the concert!

It certainly made my day! ;)

When we were in Surfers Paradise in Australia last week, my friends and I went to Dracula's which is this cabaret restaurant with a gothic/horror theme =D

anyway at the start of the dinner they named the area under the balcony [where we were sitting] "The Underbelly." I was just like 'haha awesome!'

And then at the end of the show they finished off with a Beatles medley, including Hey Jude. All I could think about was Billie Joe, during the na na na part :D

^Oh man, the irony, kids getting bullied with 'I hope you had the time of your life' in the background

although for once, the title is quite fitting.

Haha, it was at a point were they were interviewing fat kids who where at a pool. And they were telling that that was the place where they got to swim for the first time without people making fun of them :P
