And, i saw a Dookie Cassette cover signed by the band, i think that it was signed like in 1994-1995. I am not sure of the date

Mr.Whirly1988
Not much of a reference but a coincidence.. I was watching The Vampire Diaries when my parents began to fight.. and suddenly 21 Guns came up
Cori
I don't know if this is necessarily a reference or not, but one of my track coaches randomly told me tonight that whenever he hears a Green Day song it makes him think of me because he knows I'm a big fan. Green Day STALKER
I get Green Day related stuff all the time. First, in a couple of books...... Mockinjay (the Hunger Games): propos. That was short for propoganda, and I could not stop thinking of American Idiot The Titan's Curse (Percy Jackson): said something like Thalia: Ugh, who chose Jesse McCartney? Grover: I did *says looking hurt* Thalia: Oh my gods Grover that is so lame. Can't you choose someone cool, like Green Day? (needless to say, Thalia is now one of my favorite characters) 39 Clues (forgot which one.....the purple one one page 60): Nellie: Green Day, Fenway Park, 2005. I sucker-punched a boucer and got Billie Joe Armstrong to sign my forehead. Didn't wash my face for a month. (Nellie is my favorite character) *later* Nellie: You don't get Billie Joe Armstrong's autograph on your forehead without following your instincts! Those are just the books. I get Green Day related thoughts where ever I go. I swear, it's like a ghost that haunts you. But I don't mind it. Let's not forget that rhapsody commercial, or whatever it was. Transformers. Even when I hear Iron Man I think of Green Day, just because they covered it. I got my friend to say "I don't care if you don't care" once and laughed, but he didn't get it. It's almost like Green Day is my default thought or something.

Elena
I've just been watching the german TV show "My name is.." just for fun. It's a show about people who try to impersonate celebrities. And guess what, there was a guy impersonating Billie Joe. He played American Idiot on his guitar and sang along to it. They only showed a little part of his performance, but he got into the next round. If I'll get to know / see anything more, I'll let you guys know omg awesome !! i didn't see that, but maybe i'll find it on youtube i've seen this environment Green Day thing, too...and although i knew it didn't have to do anything with our Green Day, i just had to make a picture of it ...on a T show called "Galileo Big Pictures" they had a Green Day song in the backround...it was the big picture with this skateboarding dog who got a big statue ...i don't remember which song it was, but i think it was Nice Guys Finish Last, i could be wrong though xD

ANobodie
I got on Mark Zuckerburg's Facebook page today to post something (see the GDC thread 'make a video') - anyway - guess what band is listed under musical interests? Never been jealous of his billions, but that dude could put on his own GD concert. Lets ask him!
Stephanie.
In English class, this girl who loves celebrities and who will do anything to meet one told the teacher that people shouldn't like celebrities just because they are famous and they have a lot of money. Then my teacher said "You're a contradiction. A walking contradiction. Just like the Green Day song!"

Cori
I was just watching America's Got Talent from Tuesday when the show was in San Francisco, and they were showing random shots of San Francisco. In one of them a billboard that had Green Day in the John Varvatos (sp?) clothing ad could be seen about 14 minutes into the show. I freaked out when I saw it.
