ginavirginia88 Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 I was watching season 2 episodes of the show Workaholics and Green Day is mentioned twice! One when the guys say the last concert they saw was a Green Day cover band and they got "really high" haha. And then another time when one of them is getting married and they want a "classy band, like Primus or Green Day" to play the wedding. I already love that show, but the references make it even more rad!

And guess what, there was a guy impersonating Billie Joe. He played American Idiot on his guitar and sang along to it. They only showed a little part of his performance, but he got into the next round. If I'll get to know / see anything more, I'll let you guys know

I'm just waiting for the day something green day related comes up and I can super impress my parents by getting a pointless answer Today in English we were doing a film study, when the student teacher was talking about camera angles and movement. As an example of "tracking camera" he put on the last bit of the 21CB music vid (the "dream, America dream..." bit) as an example. Everyone -knowing I'm obsessed with GD- turns to look at me as I gasp in shock, and the exlaim how appropriate that it was shown today. (due to the fact it's the albums 3rd anniversary).

DannyDirnt Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Today was a day full of references.I was writing down some things in English class and then: 1.The teacher wrote "those" and I started thinking "I am one of those//melodramatic fools" 2.She wrote "of Time" and I started "I hope you had the time of your life" 3.She wrote "Tomorrow" and I started "Television dreams of tomorrow//all across the alien nation" 4.In an exercise Mary was the subject and that reminded me of "Mother Mary" by FHT Then she comes and says I get -0.2 points in my exam for not writing down the examples that I already knew how to do easily
