A music channel played the Kinks - tired of waiting for you, a song that Green Day covered on Shenanigans.

Today was a Green Day  cause I heard Green Day music everywhere! :woot:

1) At lunch the radio was on and 21 Guns was played when I made the dishes.

2) At the fitness studio Jesus of Suburbia was played on the radio when I was on the stepper.

3) At home again on TV I watched a German program called "Rach's Restaurant" and Walking Aone was played in the background when they walked through the forest.

4) On another TV channel I watched a German program called "Schau dich Schlau" (Watch you Clever) and American Idiot was played in the background when a guy tried to walk over water.

5) And some minutes later American Idiot was played again on the same program.

That was an awesome day! But Walking Alone surprised me the most cause I never heard such an unknown Green Day song on TV before :D

Really, what did they say about Billie? I know the other references, the second one was that they should make a slideshow with photos of them or something and Good Riddance in the background

omg I wanna have this! :woot:

In the background of the german TV show "Rach der Restauranttester", they played Walking Alone today. Alright, they're playing it again while I'm writing this, should I be scared now? :ninja: The reason why I'm actually posting is that I've never heard Walking Alone being played on TV so far! ;)

yeah! I'm not alone! watched it as well! and today was a total Green Day for me like I wrote above

That's what I thought.I don't know how someone can reject Green Day like that.I just assume that character wasn't supposed to have a good musical taste xD

At the library at my school, we have a wall that people can write stuff on, like their favourite quotes, poem verses, phrases etc. Someone wrote Carpe Diem

You wrote At the library

Actually the reference on "Swarley" is to Billy Joel, the singer, not our Billie Joe.

I was just playing some random quizzes on Sporcle and decided to do one called "Can you pick the famous people who are (or were) women?". Look who's in there as a possible answer :D

Some days ago I saw an article in the German magazine "Visions" and the article was about Rock am See and Green Day was mentioned :D

And I think it was on Monday when I heard Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) on the radio at work :D

My dad told me yesterday that he heard She's a Rebel on the radio. I thought it was cool because that song doesn't get much air play. :)

In English we read a poem and some of the lines were "our rage is powerful, our love is mighty".

A kid walked into class today with rap music blasting out of his headphones, he was asked to turn it off and he said if it was Green Day you'd allow it.
