The other day I wore my American Idiot shirt to school and this kid in one of my classes started singing it when he saw it on me.

A couple days later the same kid randomly said "The representative from California now has the floor." Everyone else was kinda looking at him like he was strange, but when I looked at him and smiled he said, "You know what I'm talking about." It was pretty awesome.

Yesterday my teacher handed out lyrics to Who Wrote Holden Caulfield and made us listen to the song about 3 times so we could examine it and write about how it relates to the book! When I told my teacher I loved this song he was amazed and told me he loved me then while we were writing he let us listen to the rest of the CD

I haven't heard anything of Pop Idol in years... Now it's the X Factor and Britain's Got Talent and the Voice. Why do they need that many shows that do the same thing?
