BOBD was used as backround music on a TV show, but just for a few seconds and so short that my mom didn't even realise it

I've always forgotten to mention this, it is an Italian TV program and its title makes me always think of Green Day! :D

After softball training, my friend asked me if I had liked American Idiot (musical) or not. before i could even reply 21 Guns came on over the loud speaker (they were playing the radio) I didn't even have to reply after that

Being Aussie, I hear people say G'day quite a bit. For me it doesn't mean good day, that apostrophe could easily be replaced by "reen" and be Green Day

I agree apostrophes and "reen" are obviously interchangeable in this situation.

We were talking about idioms in english class, and everyone joked around that it was "idiot". Im kinda the 'why is she even in advanced english' kid, so someone shouted out "Avery's an Idiot!!!" I took much pride in that

I went to an art exhibition some days ago and since bags and backpacks were not allowed in the art gallery they gave me the number of the locker in which I could store my bag...86 :woot:

I answered 80 times to the "Happy Birthday Kerplunk! - video" thread, with that i'm the only one who has a green day reference with their number of replies in that thread

I've seen two different girls at school with shirts that say 86 on them. I think it has to do with Victoria's Secret and Pink or something. I also saw a kid today with a shirt that said "Free for all" on it. It made me think of Minority.

Oh, in my school newspaper there is going to be a Green Day mention. A girl wrote a review of Coldplay's new album, which I guess is a concept album, but I don't listen to Coldplay. Anyways, in it she said that the album didn't match up to its contemporaries, like Green Day's American Idiot in 2004. :D

I heard a girl say American Idiot the other day in passing. It wasn't that weird, but y'know put a smile on my face.

My brother heard 'Scattered' on the radio the other day :)

I was watching Legally Blonde in my government class today and she said something like, "Imagine living on the boulevard of broken dreams."

That's not the direct quote, I just remember the 'boulevard of broken dreams' bit. :P

Lucky! I've never heard Welcome to Paradise on the radio, and I haven't heard When I Come Around for years. Though I did hear Hitchin a Ride and Jesus of Suburbia last week :)

My station plays a lot of Green Day, but I've never heard Jesus Of Suburbia on radio.
