cj_unoxx
A girl in my class saw seize in French which means 16 and kept on saying seize the day and that remnded me of Carpe Diem. ^^ Today we watched some video in geography and in the credits, it said TRE ESPRESSO. I have to do an assignment and we have to make an ad for a pair of shoes. I couldnt think of a brand name ao I found some forum an one of the suggestion was "tre" My Italian teacher in primary school said "tre" as "tray" so it sorta looked like we were talking about Tré Cool instead of how to say three in Italian Also I have a PE speecj to write about marijuana and I keeping finding references in my research, like the term "burnout". Also, for the iPod/iPhone users, listen to the xylophone ringtone. Anyone else reminded of Before The Lobotomy? I don't get how it sound like Before The Lobotomy :/
BJA TC MD
I don't get how it sound like Before The Lobotomy :/ I dunno maybe I'm the only one. I'm mean the bit that's like "well I'm not stoned I'm just fucked up", like the guitar part in that bit of the song.
Hermione
There's this show on 4music right now, some kind of music show case where bands chat and play music and stuff. It's this dance band, Example, so I wasn't paying any attention at all until they started playing BOBD. And then they said that some of their biggest influenes are guitar bands like Green Day. That was pretty cool. That's so cool! Have to look out for it if it gets repeated.
BJA TC MD
At the end of last year, there was a program on the 24 hour news channel about the year in politics: 2010. Boulevard Of Broken Dreams was used in it. It was repeated so I saw it like 3 times.
whatserbmae
I was in a thrift store today, and they had a book called "Nimrodligaen" which would be "The Nimrod league" in English (when I had a look inside, I found that the original English title was completely different though). In my head I was picturing a league of men with the Nimrod logo in their face.

I guess today was just a Green Day haha.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love
Drunk Bunny arrested for public drinking in Japan. No, actually I have no idea what context this picture was made in, but yeah. Must be our Bunny's twin brother, he looks much too clean to be Green Day's

Lena549
there was a guy with a 21stCBD shirt on TV today (with the skulls of Act I, II or III) the other day I've seen a guy with an AI shirt my history teacher talked about a telegraph, and that reminded me of telegraph avenue, at the corner of stuart ave in latin there was this word 'late' and it's pronounced just like an anglicist would pronounce 'cafe latte', and in BIAB Mike asks Billie if he wants a caffe latte
Slappy.
I was sitting on the bus earlier on the way to work, and I noticed this sign which read "Know your ticket" and so you know what song I immediately think of. And for the rest of the day I've had "Do you know your tickeeeet, do you know your ticket, gotta know your ticket...." stuck in my head!
BJA TC MD
I was sitting on the bus earlier on the way to work, and I noticed this sign which read "Know your ticket" and so you know what song I immediately think of. And for the rest of the day I've had "Do you know your tickeeeet, do you know your ticket, gotta know your ticket...." stuck in my head! A similar thing happened to me in cooking class. We had a sheet and the title was "Do you know your kitchen utensils". For my assignment, I needed to find a recipe, so I found one and on the side it said 9327 people liked it on Facebook. It showed some people who liked it. One persons picture was of Billie Joe.
KatherineKerplunk
I don't know if this is really a reference but on Sky arts they keep on showing Rock n' Roll Exposed with Bob Gruen and the description they alway put is "with Green Day lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong" or something like that.
