GreenDay07.
I was surfing through the App Store on my iTouch and I happened to notice something (and get super excited sadly..) haha. But on the 'Get Running (Couch to 5K) Benjohn Barnes' app, there are pictures that show previews of the app. If you scroll all the way to the right, there is a picture that shows a running timer and underneath this it shows that Give Me Novacaine / She's A Rebel is playing. I thought that was pretty random.. and awesome.

Guest
I'm reading this new book called Beach Blonds by Katherine Appleagate and here's the reference: Diana Olan sat slumped in the passenger seat of her mother's car. She tuned the volume dial on the CD player up high enough to allow Green Day's lyrics to be heard by people halfway across the island. I was so happy when I found this because there's like only three books that I found Green Day references in, including the one that I'm reading now. pasalaska
So in one of the books on GD I have (have no idea which one) it mentions that the idea for the image of American Idiot heart grenade came from a skateboarding brand - the image was used with permission I remember it saying. I was looking for new wrist guards in a skate shop today, and what did I see? http://www.thundertrucks.com/ It's surprsingly close to the AI heart grenade. I kinda like the shirt and these:
gdpony
Not really important but meh ... 1. Latin VH1 uses She for a commercial that airs almost every hour. 2. The show instant star from the n named their episodes after songs, one of these episodes was named When I come around
Stormy Haze
1. Latin VH1 uses She for a commercial that airs almost every hour. That reminded me of something: there's also a VH1 commercial that uses a part from Basket Case.
Kristen M
Alright so this happened last month but I just thought of posting it... On my last day of school my principal played Good Riddance over the PA system. I went skipping around the halls singing along I know it's not really a reference but whatever Oh and the other day I went to a party and the house was on Foxboro Lane

Belita
In one of my older english books, "Key English" or whatever (from school), there was this thing about how to start a small talk. Our teacher said that we should read that page quietly, then start a small talk with the person we were sittin next to. Then, i saw this picture of 2 kids talkin to each other, and one of them starts by saying "I love music. I listen to Green Day. Do you like Green Day?" (something like that) And in the middle of this deadly silence, i start cracking up xD Afterwards, i just copied the sentence......well, i did start a small talk... ....about Green Day It's bullshit that i didn't scan the page or took at least a picture of it.....now it's too late....i've already delivered the book.....
