ScatteredPictures
Whatsername is a common phrase for when you cant actually remember a girls name, I doubt she was actually called Whatsername. It probably comes up quite often in conversation! But she's from austria.

Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love
Still. Some of my friends occasionally use the phrase as well, while speaking Dutch. So far it's always been Whatshisname though, unfortunately

Micky
I was reading this sort of fanfiction and there was the line: each one of us really is a brain, a hero, a sidekick, a basket case, and a brat. Lame reference, but still ...

Guest
I was at the fair the other day with my neighbor(s) and well my one neighbor's daughter is 9 and won two gold fish, when we got back she had already named one of the fishes, Max, and she came over to where her mom and I were and told us that she named the one and couldn't name the other. So me, being the great name-comer-upper (jk), I pretended to think about some of the names. Finally I said to her, "What about Billie?" She got all excited and said that's what the fish's name was. Her mom looked at me and said, "Did you just name my fish?" Jokingly of course, and I told her that she could change it if she wants. She said "No, you named it and that's it name." I just laughed. So I guess this counts as a reference If not then oh well (I was about to say Mike or Tre, but Billie's name popped up first )

Mar
There's a piece in this week's Entertainment Weekly (I believe it was the Cars 2 review) that said the phrase "American idiot." I think it was the first time I had ever seen that phrase not applied to the band

Fanny.
Last week my friends and I went downtown and we’ve been to this store that sells all kinds of stuff such as this game And my brother and I used to play a lot with this game when we were way younger. It was my mom’s when she was a child (: The name must come from the sound the marbles make when they fall, not Green Day's meaning XD
