I don't know if someone's posted this before, but I was leafing through Rolling Stone '100 Greatest Artists of all Time' and I saw that Billie Joe had written the page about the Sex Pistols.

i was in HMV today (music shop, fucking heaven for me :woot: ) and they started playing Geek Stink Breath from AAF i got out my camera just to record it, people were looking at me like wtf :lol: then the guy on the speakers started talking about AAF and that people should buy it, there were none left in the Green Day section  which i'm happy to say is HUGE :D

Wow! I got excited when I saw AAF tshirts in HMV...the music they play in our HMV's is shit stuff! I always wonder who picks it and why they do...

I was browsing this really random website looking for funny pictures, and this popped up! :woot:

I was so so happy when Billie said that, because it is just so true and should be done every time! I know its obvious but still

I am watching QI right now and there's a picture of a guy riding a llama

Okay so I was reading this book called Dead Is The New Black by Marlene Perez. I'll just post the quote.

"I selected an old Green Day song but was prepared when a different song came on instead."

Basically the Jukebox is weird and will just play a random song, not the one that you selected. But I was happy that they mentioned Green Day in a book that is pretty popular.

I was watching a show on VH1 that is called like before and after or something like that and green day appeared with macys day parade and the AAF version of cigarettes and valentines, the next day I was watching a show about celebrities when they were 17 and a gouy said that he loved green day and a short longview clip showed up

My sister wanted me to play Mad Libs, so I did, and put as many GD references in as possible. My favorite was "And then for 86 days I was rocking Cigarettes and Valentines." Or something like that... it made so much sense though.

They do, but I don't really think they're that nice. They are black tshirts with the awesome as fuck cover design on the front and the words "awesome as fuck" in that font in green underneath the logo

In sixth grade my teacher played Boulevard of Broken Dreams when we talked about poetry.

Also at school I was heading down to the autitorium for a stupid assembly about girls bowling and I heard some kids in the band room next door playing Jesus Of Suburbia. I only payed attention to that and not the assembly at all.

I was walking through the store at work the other day and as I was passing by this couple I heard, "so Billie Joe..." I quickly turned around but they went into a different aisle so I couldn't catch the rest of the conversation.

An old friend of mine on Facebook just posted the chorus of Brat on his wall.

He continues to amaze me with his Green Day fandom. The other day he mentioned Shenanigans and 1000 Hours.
