That has to have been intentional. Any chance you remember the name of the book?

It's called "Almost Famous" by Zoey Dean.

And on page 298 at the bottom is where there's part of the Church on Sunday lyrics.

Found a crazy couple today,

Reading a poem in English, its called Homecoming!!!! i scribbled some lyrics down the side of it  to top it off, the poet was called Simon Armitage  I freaked out, since another of his poems had the words dearly beloved at the start!

Someone at the airport asked me "what's a Green Day? Is that like a cult?" or something like that

And when I went on this touristy thing round New York there were some leaflets for American Idiot which seemed odd considering that everything else said things like "THE BEAST! Super-cool 30 minute cruise!" and "Get 50% off at Macy's" ... we took a massive pile of them

I had the chance to study him and didn't! :o If only I'd known... but to study him I had to study this other poet who wrote about things like having one-night stands and then stabbing the guy to death... so I chose the other option.

His poems are quite dull tbh, very confusing

I saw a guy in my college wearing an AI t-shirt a few days ago, andf a girl wearing a 21cb hoodie. I was flicking through the channels the other day, there was a film called "The City of the Dead" on one channel, and on the channel below it there was something called "Lost Highway.," then later on I was watching a film where someone said "nice guys finish last." I saw a van for "Armstrong Ceilings" today. I like when I see alot of references around the same time.

The day we before the Marlay concert we were heading out to the park on the bus, the bus route I took every day to and from work that summer, and I spotted SO many GD references that I'd never seen before! "She" Boutique, Armstrong Street, and others I can't remember now

I was walking down the hall the other day and heard someone say "Jesus of Suburbia." :woot: Although it was probably because they saw me in my GD hoodie, haha.

Also, I was playing LittleBigPlanet with my best friend the other day, and one of the custom-made levels we were trying out had that 2001: Space Odyssey theme playing. Of course, I first associated it with BIAB. :D

Can't think of a lot at the moment, my brain's stuck ... oh yeah once my friends and I were hanging at recess and both of them started pretending to be "Americans" and did like those stereotypical Texan accents and stuff (sorry about the discrimination and stuff I didn't like it either D:) and then I said  "I'm friends with a bunch of American idiots!" XD

Also, today my friend and I were working on the computers at school and she was making up an imaginary name and she wrote "Jacob" and I was like YOU SPELLED IT WRONG and she asked me why ... i just shook my head and said she wouldn't understand ...

Oh and I was playing my clarinet at home and I looked at it and realized that it was made by a company named Armstrong. :woot: For some reason I was so happy.

... And another random fact - every time I go inside a bookstore, I go straight to the music section and try and find something GD related. They were on the cover of the Definitive Illustrated Encyclopedia of Rock! :D But they just put a normal entry, like blablabla California punk band blablabla revival blablabla American Idiot ... but it still makes me happy!

At a little shop when I went to Gettysburg, PA, I looked on a shelf and saw a jar that said "Sassafras Roots". :D

I'm sitting at the same desk again and someone wrote back "Nice drawing! What is it?"

I was trying to think of something witty to write back, but yeah, their stupidity doesn't even deserve an answer.
