Green Day References

My dad said something like "I am a minority"

and I was just like OMG Minority!!!! :woot: and started singing it in my head.

Then we were playing Scattegories and I had so many green day related things.

-Know Your Enemy (song)

-Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe (resturant)

- Kill (girls name)

- The Rev  (Notorious people, I said he was notorious for singing drunk :P and my dad didn't like the fact he performed drunk )

- Green Day (Duos or Trios)

Then we had celebrities with the letter F and I put Frosco Lee, Jason Freese, and Fink

I just saw that my post count is 121. Which of course puts 21 Guns in my head, and when I made my 121th post I was writing about 21 Guns too. :woot:

On O'Connell Bridge? For those who don't know, thats basically as "city centre" as you can get! I keep hearing about this van, but have never seen it myself!

The van is amazing

Earlier on Kitchen Nightmares USA this bloke was trying to make a sushi roll, he said "I tried to make a sushi roll but it came out more like a dookie roll" :D

I saw a billboard in Manchester advertising the LCCC concert. I guess that's not so random. I think I remember seeing Green Day in some weird book or something but I don't remember what it was called.

My sis is learning english in her first year now.

i just looked what she was doing, and she was filling in a vocabulary list. In that list, she had Basket and Cage listed underneath each other :D

So I was normally reading a book, and in all of a sudden some English words appear in the middle of the others. I eventually find myself knowing those words. They were Green Day lyrics! The first lines of Walking Contradiction appear in this book, The Class (Entre Les Murs) by François Bégaudeau. It was so amazing and unexpecting to see it there! :woot: The lyrics aren't completely correct (ex: life is expensive instead of lies are expensive) but that's nothing.

I can post scans tomorrow if anyone's interested.

Not really a reference, just some badass flipping channels. I was flipping channels and as I passed MTV, which was showing some VH1 celeb countdown thing or whatever, I was just seeing what it was and within 20 seconds American Idiot starts playing as background music. I then continued flipping channels, and some ten minutes later or something, I passed MTV again and within 5 seconds of watching MTV, there was When I Come Around as background music. :D
