In my English course my teacher went a bit Off-Topic and told me what article another course in the 13 or 12 do right now: It's 21st Century woman and the whole time he was talking expected him to say 21st century breakdown. A friend of mine eventually mentioned it.

1) I watched the new movie "Musket" (I don't know if that's the original title cause I only translated it from German) and in the movie there was a woman called "Shé" and besides Che Guevara it reminded me of the song "She" :P

2) I watched "How I Met Your Mother" and Ted asked Robin if her boyfriend Bob will come with them or I don't know what exactly but then Robin said "No, he goes to a Green Day concert" :D

3) I watched (always references in movies and series  ) "Married… with Children" and there Al Bundy found a religion called "Church of the Brown Bottle" and it reminded me of the Church of Lushotology :D

In my typing class, once we learned the 'R' key we started having to type "Jar" and I got excited until I realized that jar is a word as well as an acronym.

There's a new apartment/shops complex being built near my house and it's going to be called 'six10'

Sixten being the artist who inspired the 21CB cover art.

I smile every time I see it

My mother is very aware of my obsession with Green Day, lol. Sadly, she doesn't care for them nearly as much as I do, but at least she listens to them and puts up with my obsession!

We were in this cafe this one night and it was really loud. It was packed and there were a lot of people talking at once. However, you know when you can tune out the world sometimes and just zone out so that eventually you don't even notice anyone talking anymore? Well that's what I did, but then all of a sudden, I distinctly heard from somewhere in the room, "Billie Joe". My head snapped up and I looked around, but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I turned back to my mom and she had a weird look on her face before she laughed and said, "You're pathetic!" She must have heard someone say it too and she was watching my reaction, lmao.

Hahahaha a similar thing happened to me. My mom and I were watching the news but I was sleepy so I had my eyes closed. Then all of a sudden my mom says "Billie Joe" and my eyes pop open and I was like WHAT? On the news?? :woot: And she's like yeah, and I looked at the tv and they were talking about someone who needed hip surgery and they weren't sure if he was going to be on stage anymore. And I'm just like WHAT??? What was that?? And my mom looked at me with a confused face at first and then was like "Ohh not your Billie Joe, another Billie Joe." -- I was so relieved at that point you have no idea haha. And yes, pathetic like your mother says haha.

On the Toy Show there was a game of Kerplunk in the background at one point and one of the children had a puppet called One Eye Jack which reminded me of the place ths Tubbies played once.

Then on the radio the presenter said, That was a Billy Joel (he said it :"Jo-elle") song, I though he said Billie Joe Armstrong :lol:

My entire grade wenton a field trip to go see "A Christmas Carol" downtown. When we got back we all got playbooks and on one of the pages there was an add for the American Idiot Musical. I freaked out and had to show it to a bunch of people. One of ther asked what it was. She had never heard of AI or Green Day. crazy!!!!! :runaround:

Yesterday I was doing some English excercises in some random book I had found and there was a huge list of abstract nouns, and as soon as I started skimming through them, I found looots of lyrics references, so I started writing the complete lines next to them. It made my day, plus I'll never forget the meanings lol

This semi we passed today had "Armstrong" written on it for some reason. Not like a company name or anything, just in small print on the back.

I was watching a crime investigation show last night and they mentioned malachite. A very small green day reference but i thought it was worth it!
