I was watching the kid's news with a half eye, and some kid's sister was named Billie-Jo.

I was watching some random commercial about a series on TV (I think it was some crime series, but not CSI or NCIS or something like that) and I heard them play Christian's Inferno in the background. Which is rather weird, because Belgium isn't that publicly into Green Day (They're rather unknown/underground here). And what makes it even more weirder is that it was Christian's Inferno... a song never released as a single, nor played life that often.

In my Crim class last week we had a guest professor speak and he was also a jazz musician, and in his lecture he had a powerpoint slide titled "Trouble in Paradise." He also later couldn't remember some person's name and said "Whatsername?" and then said "Oh, Miss Cleo." (like Billie's tweet Chillin' with Cleo  ) :D

Today in English class my teacher told us that one of the next books we will be reading is The Catcher in The Rye. I am quite excited since it will give me an excuse to listen to Who Wrote Holden Caulfield.

A nun came into my religion class today to preach about helping Africa and whatnot, and she said Y'Know after every couple of words.

So instead of thinking about those poor sick african children, I just laughed to myself about the Billie reference the nun didnt even know she was making :lol:

whenever people just happen to say the names of GD songs or even just lyrics i think of them. And sometimes when someone says something that reminds me of something they said in an interview i just kinda laugh to my self like i'm crazy....hehehe.

And theres plenty of incidents where something in public has reminded me of Green Day and i just had to yell it out....:P

Went to see Prima Donna and the girls we met up with had the fabulous idea to ask them to play It's Fuck Time, so we did. Kevin said they couldn't because the rest of the band didn't know it. But during the show he played a couple of chords and sang a couple of lines of it for us - made my night :D

Just before on the Simpsons a lady mentioned Letterbombs.

And for a unit at school we're making education packs to send to young refugees in detention centres. Talking about Darfur a lot gave me the chance to make my teacher watch the Working Class Hero video

There was a quiz on the radio today and one of the questions was : "Billie Joe Armstrong is the lead singer of which famous American band?" The person got it right as well

Someone just said a load of swear words in a row on tv, it makes me want to listen to Platypus

The other day my sister's three year old walked up to her and said "I don't like Green Day. It's all stinky, put it in the washing machine"

I don't think he actually knows what Green Day is (although he's a Foxboro Hot Tubs fan), he just knows it's funny to say that. His Green Day hating dad is to blame!
