I'm reading a book about corpses (This book to be precise), and in a part about a funeral for corpses that have been used in anatomy labs, the author mentions someone performing Time of Your Life. Green Day keeps popping up in places where I least expect it.

i heard an old man talking with one of his friends at work

he said "almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades"

i always think of green day when i hear it.

even though it was a saying before they wrote the song...

On ESPN.com I saw "Green Day" was one of the featured videos. Once I clicked on it, the headline read "Welcome to Paradise." Obviously the video is about Michigan St. (a green colored team) beating their rivals Michigan. I still thought it was pretty cool to see a GD reference on their website.

RE class is the best for gd references,a lot are far off ones but still significant enough to be noticed.

ov Jesus is an obvious one but the other day the teacher said 'what if it was your last night on earth '...

then she said '2000 years', so i added in the word 'light'...and Reverend also appears along with the name Joseph. then there was a paragraph on community and authority.... She than started explaining stuff and said it was 'the time of their life', not exact but close enough. 'on a mission' was said and it reminded me of the Castaway lyrics. she mentioned people who were peacemakers.... :runaround: she said blasphemy and that always makes me think of East jesus nowhere... and finally she said the evidence of something or other was scattered around... i think that was it but is unbelievable the amount of things she says

we were on holiday in LA, and I was in that little store for posters next to the walk of fame.

suddenly, i heard the beginning of brain stew. i instantly stopped walking and breathing and

looked around to see where the music came from. i said "that's...." but i didnt say the name

of the song because my sister was with me and she doesnt know the song..

so we walked out the store and when we passed by the next one, they also played

brain stew, and i stopped walking again and it somehow made me happy.

i came to the conclusion it had to be a popular radio station playing the song..

in that moment, it was really a bit scary.. i liked it though..
