Last week I was waiting in line at McDonalds and there was a girl in front of me with shorts saying "Drama Queen" and a guy behind me with a shirt saying "Peacemaker". I was like "Is that a sign?" So random.

I've actually got a photo album on my facebook with GD references I came across over the last few months if anyone's interested.

It's weird, every song I love right now mentions lobotomy at one point.

And it's not really a reference but everytime I see someone walking around in a Green Day shirt I've got to tell it everyone around me. ^^

Two times ive seen random references, in a book called "Exist 2 Inspire" its about the wwf/wwe wrestlers The Hardy Boyz, Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy mentions green day as one of his biggest influences

also on a tv show on nickelodeon called "Big Time Rush", their manager Roque says something along the lines of "Green Day is Good, you were HORRIBLE" or something

A show my mom was watching has a song that sounds a lot like a FBHT song (I can't remember which one, but it sounded a lot like a particular one). No lyrics, but still.

I haven't skimmed this thread to see if this has been mentioned, but on Disney Channel's 'Suite Life On Deck' there is an episode where Marcus says he is going to create a 'Hip-Hopera' like a Hip Hop musical.

He says "If Green Day can create a musical then so can I" and then one of the twins says something like "Green Day is one of the most popular bands in the world, and you're just some kid"

I once bought a German magazine (I don't understand German at all but I bought it because they had a Green Day poster in it) and there was this comics that was real (not like those drawn ones) and one guy there had a Green Day poster on the wall. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose. It just happened to be there.

Okay so I don't know if these have been mentioned but:

1.) In Knocked Up when the little girl is like "I wanna listen to Green Day!" or something like that...haha

2.) I was at the bookstore reading a book on how to write great college essays and it started saying how some people quote famous writers or people like that.

It said something like this "Some people use Bob Dylan or Ernest Hemingway as sources of inspiration and use quotes from. Just remember, be careful what quotes you choose. These people are fine, but would you really want to quote lyrics from Green Day?" My face was like :ermm::cry:

Now I want to put Green Day lyrics in my next essay. :P

That reminds me, one time at school we were making posters, and at one part you had to put lyrics that fit you (or something like that). I put a line from Waiting.

The first line of LiL Wayne's song "Hot Revolver" starts out "Do you have the time to listen to me whine?"

I bought Rebirth today, heard this song and was all.. :o

I love LiL Wayne

Did anyone else notice it sounds exactly like Whatsername in the beginning??? :o
