I went shopping today and saw a dress by a company called Rage. It had a big label on it that said "Rage", so obviously my natural instinct was to turn it over to see if it had "Love" on the other side. It didn't.

A girl in my form was going on a trip so she came in her own clothes. Not wearing a lot I must admit, but tucked in at the back of her shorts was a bandana hanging out of her pocket. So reminded me of Billie :D

I was reading MLIA today, and one of the stories were, " Today, my really annoying language arts teacher assigned us a 2000 word research project. I wrote an extra 3000 words as revenge. Sure, it took a lot more effort on my part, but guess who now has to read and mark a 5000 word essay on Billie Joe Armstrong, a man he doesn't even care about. Touche. MLIA"

Not really a reference but I bought a Zebrahead CD today and while I was waiting at the train station I read the CD booklet and Jason Freese wrote a song with the band, played the piano etc. Makes him even cooler.

I went to an event at a surfboard shop and there was this entire section of this brand by billabong:

I just HAD to take a pic of it. :eyebrow:

Side story...I was talking to one of the event workers at the store, and I mentioned I heard about the event through Green Day, and she said she went to one of Green Day's early concerts when Dookie just came out. I know it's not that big a deal but it made me happy. :P

I was watching tv earlier and an ad for American Pie: The Wedding came on with American Idiot playing in the background. It encouraged me to set the film to record

Walking through the city today (Dublin, Ireland) and on an alleyway just off Abbey Street I saw a poster stuck to the wall. It was kinda peeling but you could clearly make out the lyrics "do you know the enemy? well gotta know the enemy!", and it was in the 21st Century Breakdown font. It made my day! :)

Yesterday (at least I think it was yesterday), I was watching I love the New Millenium on Vh1 and they played American Idiot as the background music. :D

actually VH1 always plays AI, Warning and Longview as background music on their shows, but mostly countdowns

Last year, during class, we had some songs to practice for this concert (sadly, WE don't actually preform, but people come to our school) and one of the songs were Good Riddance (Time of your Life) , we had the lyrics on the board and the music playing. I was holding in excitement, 'cause people then didn't know I was a Green Day fan, then my friends and I began to sing then most of the class joined us :D
