poisonheart Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Wasn't Longview some small, dull village?(no idea why I made that a question..)lol i have no idea, i didn't go. just drove past the sign and snapped a picture. i can't even remember where it was to be perfectly honest. somewhere in oregon, i know that much.I'd kill to meet Longview, seriously xDand 27 is the logo of the riverdales great band, y'know? xD you could have made fun of your friend a little olonger xDAND SARA IS DYING NOW T_______T WHY, GOD, WHY?!aah, i knew from wikipedia that it had something to do with the bay area scene but i didn't know that's what it was.honestly, it means nothing. we were watching the simpsons and lisa was daydreaming about math and all these numbers were floating around and one popped up and said 'TWENTY SEVEN' in a really funny voice and we just kept saying it because we thought it was hilarious and it kinda escalated into this injoke about nothing.. so now, you know.
Sarahnade. Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I was at the hospital on Friday, and when I took a number to wait, my number was 86! And the chick that was filling out my paperwork was named Adrienne. I was watching Dr. House yesterday, and Chase punched House in the face. So House was saying he had an accident with his sofa...Cuddy: 13, TAUB AND FOREMAN SAW HIM PUNCHING YOU!House: OMG, MASS HYSTERIA!I was like when he said that! hahaha.

Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 well, here we have a town called "Peor es nada" (which would be "worst is nothing") and it has a really big sign for it xD So Longview can has its sign too, right? xdI'm gonna do it wrong here and be serious, but I've heard in some interview that the song Longview was named after the village.Oh and last night I saw someone wearing a jacket with something on it and the number 86 very big.
Isabel Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 i thought the same....OPTION A: Private ale?OPTION B: Secret Green Day reference that I don't know about eitherOPTION C: WRONG THREAD = FAIL!Well I suppose the Private Ale part (in a very vague way) But the Guinness?

rhiaaaaa Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 In history my teacher kept talking about conscientious objectors xD
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Today I saw the cellphone commercial again and it was indeed the 21CB cover, the person who was on the cell picked Peacemaker to listen to I couldn't hear what music was actually playing though. Let's hope I'll come across it again.
Smoothed Out Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 There was an article on the news about the max. volume for ipods and they had a video of someone scrolling through their songs on an ipod touch. I spotted Nimrod, AI and ISH (they also had Employment by the Kaiser Chiefs which I was pleased about) Then my dad put on a film he'd taped which had Jamie Bell in it (from WMUWSE vid)THEN I turned on MTV and 21 Guns had just startedThis has to be a sign for something!!!
Juliette Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 On X Factor they just said "He hit the ground running" which instantly got me singing Favorite Son.And every time I walk past Gap there's this big sign above the door that says "nineteen sixty-nine" and I think of 21CB
BigYellowTaxi Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Well I always add my Green Day References in my sentences when I write in school or I'm talking to someone!
Opezi Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 lol im watching this movie called the pacifier and he went into the kids room and he had a green day poster on his wall
Conspiracy. Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Yesterday I saw the movie 'Transformers' and Sam (the main character) had the walls of his room covered in posters and there was a big Nimrod one!
Isabel Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 And every time I walk past Gap there's this big sign above the door that says "nineteen sixty-nine" and I think of 21CB I would find it very hard to refrain from singing "Raised by the bastards of 1969!!!"
LetItBeHappy Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I would find it very hard to refrain from singing "Raised by the bastards of 1969!!!" someone needs to write "RAISED BY THE BASTARDS" above that
Modern Zero. Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Okay, so there's this commercial for this show on one of my channels on tv and the guy says the word "brutality" and so everytime he says "brutality" I always go, ".....of reality!" from Before The Lobotomy LOLAnd also, one day in Geometry class, my teacher was going around checking homework, so she says, "As I make my rounds grading homework, you all can check it on the board." And I immediately got lyrics from Tight Wad Hill when Billie sings, "Making your rounds once again, turning up empty handed."
LetItBeHappy Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 i don't think this one counts, but they put Green Day's cover of Like a Rolling Stone on the radio! was so freaking weird, that I wasn't sure it was actually Billie singing till I checked on the Radio's website xD
Hellcat Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I take the bus to work through Stuart Ave.I know its not stuart and the ave but its pretty damn close.I love subway BMT and i always refer to it as the bille mike tre.My pin number is 1039 and i didnt chose it haha.
Juliette Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I would find it very hard to refrain from singing "Raised by the bastards of 1969!!!" I pretty much do every time someone needs to write "RAISED BY THE BASTARDS" above that I so will... maybe.
