I would have released these singles in this order:

1. 21st Century Breakdown

2. Last Of The American Girls

3. 21 Guns

4. The Static Age

5. (Before The Lobotomy)

6. Last Night On Earth

I pretty much agree with this. KYE wasn't a good choice as a first single imo.

I don't think there will be any more singles, it was fucked up way too much with 21st CB and EJN, two amazing songs that were lost because of huge fuck ups in marketing/promoting/ and no official release dates.

For the only thing with singles is we get new vidoes but othewise i dont really care about singles for me personally coz i dont listen to the radio so i dont get the excitement of hearing a green day song on the radio..

So my view on singles are that they are really there to promote the album and to be honest all promotions about this album and singles and to come extent the tour as well, i believe, were pretty bad.. or more acurately low key.. whether this is intentional or not i am not sure.. Anyways so my point is i dont really care what single is next or if they do a single i would just love to see a video for Viva la Gloria.. :D

Re-release of East Jesus Nowhere? With actual promotion and a proper video? So that it can make a big splash like all the band excitedly said they wanted it too when the album came out? Pretty please???

Idea: how about GDC set up a poll and let us see if we can influence the band ? I think BTL would be my choice.

If they're going to release another single anyway, I just hope it'll be The Static Age. They should promote that one better, and make an epic video for it. :)

Great idea! Would be fun to see.

Ofc we wouldn't be able to know if we influenced them, but it's worth a shot!

I'm still in shock that EJN was an official single. What a poor excuse for a music video and no promotion to speak of. I really had no idea that was why they made that mash-up. Ugh. I agree with you guys; It needs a second chance. it's too good of a song to have been treated the way it was.

I think American Eulogy or Muder City

But I love all the songs from 21st Century Breakdown.

I believe that the status of another single depends on the success of LOTAG. If it is very successful (like 21 Guns successful) I think we will see another single.

My perspective of the singles popularity -

KYE - A lot of people know it

21 Guns - Everyone knows it

East Jesus Nowhere - Some people know it

21st Century Breakdown - No one really knows it

LOTAG - Too early to tell. Hopefully it's a hit

I think LOTAG is probably the last single off 21st CB but I'm guessing if they were to release another single it would be Murder City so it could follow up LOTAG.

The guys that made that AMAZINGly awesome not official video of East Jesus Nowhere months back?

They need to make the video for it because I fucking loved it. It was better than all the videos released so far by the actual band. XDDD

it's the bottom video.

AND they're apparently based out of 880 studios too. :whistle

I don't think there will be another single from 21st Century Breakdown but I would have to say that my guess would be The Static Age.

I agree but I would like them to release Horseshoes and Handgrenades.

I would have released them in this order:

1. iViva La Gloria! - perfect introduction to the 21st era, and the whole Gloria/Christian story

2. 21 Guns - epic song and the most successful single off Breakdown

3. Peacemaker - totally left-field but with some promo I think it could have been a hit

4. Restless Heart Syndrome/Last Night On Earth - either one would have been great

5. East Jesus Nowhere
