Greenday_Aussie
And? Who cares?I don't think that it's important to top Milton Keynes, am I the only one who thinks like that? They'll do a great show, no matter how many people are there. They don't need to prove anyone that they are (one of) the best live bands around right now, I'm sure that all people who go there already know that Theres no point playing a place like that if you cant fill half of it, is there? I mean, there are other places in Ireland to play that would suit the crowds GD gets, wouldnt there be?
The Disappearing Boy
"In August of most years since 1981 the grounds of Slane castle are used to host rock concerts. The natural amphitheatre has a 100,000 person capacity. In 2004, pop superstar Madonna performed her first ever music concert in Ireland at Slane Castle for 60,000 people in stormy weather for 3 hours."Thanks you wiki A lot of people then! How many were at the Keys? 60,000 both nights? They'll have a tough time getting anywhere near that with the trainwreck promoting that has been done for 21stCB, Green Day are nowhere near as popular as they were in the AI era.Milton Keynes? About 65000 each night.

Isabel
Everyone's worrying about them filling the place...it wouldn't just be Green Day, other bands will be playing aswell. It's like a mini, one day festival. This year, the lineup was:OasisKasabianThe EnemyThe ProdigyAnd it was on in June, so it's not on in August every year. HoneyDo666
Why is everyone doubting Green Day's ability to pull in a crowd? The UK tour sold out w/o ANY album promotion, the album wasn't even out yet when the tix went on sale!A LOT of people would go to this, Green Day still have millions of super-devoted fans. Look at the VMAs, they won and everyone thought KOL would.
