Yeah, there are a few really classic performances out there, but I tried to choose videos that put the focus on the song rather than on ... other things.

I know, I think you made very good choices :) Besides, Chicago one is quite well known and some people might be not familiar with the ones you posted :)

Inspired by a poem written by one of Billie's ex girlfriends If I remember rightly? (or did I dream that) ? :D

He really does understand the world and life from a woman's point of view.

I love and adore this song

I've heard that too, was it an ex girlfriend or Adie though?

Great song!

I wanted Waiting for SotW but theres also next week.

"waiting for a sign to smash the silence with the brick of self-control."

Those are the lyrics that stand out for me. This is one of my very favorite Green Day songs. Billie's lyrics are awesome..the way he manages to express himself through the music and the way each person interprets the lyrics to whatever is going in your life at the moment is amazing.

What up, J'net???? The first youtube resullt for 'she' is this awesome one where Billie is high and starts talking about going on his scooter... no his big wheel... no his bicycle.

Anyhoozle, I love this song to death and back to life. Specially 'scream at me until my ears bleed'

Easily one of my all time favorite songs.

I love it so much, not only does it have a good melody and is fun to listen to, but the lyrics are fantastic- deep and beautiful. And to this day, i think it's one of the easiest songs for me to relate to, I identify with nearly every phrase! haha. Listening to it always makes me feel better when i'm upset. And not to mention, like people have already said, it's INCREDIBLE live.

This song is just pure awesome

I love She! She is one of those songs I don't listen to TOO often on the record itself, but I cover it all the time and I LOVE hearing it live!

My favorite part is during the second chorus when Billie SCREAMS "TO BREAK THE SILENCE WITH A BRICK OF SELF CONTROL!"

:D

This. I love how Billie is just rambeling on, and Mike and Tre are just jamming. And Billie's like, "SNUU!" And then goes into the song, all normal.

What if he actually said Snoo?! :o

Anyway, yeah. I love it.

"You rub it, you worry, you rub it, you worry, you worry, you worry, you rub it, you worry, you worry, you worry."

Yes indeed. I didn't use that one because, as I mentioned above, I like to get videos for Song of the Week that really highlight the song rather than someone's behavior (or nakedness in the case of another famous "She" performance ).

Maybe it's some kind of subliminal message of what was to come! :o

And, haha, yeah. "I'm gonna get my in my Big Wheel, my Big Wheel. I'm gonna get in my Tonka Truck; I'm gonna......take it." And, "I'm gonna smash it against the window! Yeah, I am!"

That was one of the first live videos I saw of them, and I was like  , but I couldn't stop laughing.

Great choice J'net!

This is one of my favorite Green Day songs, probably one of my favorite songs, period! Also contains one of my favorite lines ever - one that I completely relate to - "All her doubts were someone else's point of view."

Hearing this live for the first time this year was almost indescribable - it was just amazing.

Yesterday I was driving around and She actually came on the radio! I blasted it and it really made my day. It's on of my favorite Green Day songs, and when it was played at my show, words can't describe how amazing it was.

Good choice for song of the week!

This is absolutley one of my favorite songs, I'm so glad it's song of the week

How can a song that's so energetic still make me cry??? lol

"she screams in silence",

"she's figured out that all her doubts were someone else's point of view"

The chorus is my favorite part, it rises quickly and slams right into you..

when they played it at the concert, the second i heard it, i started laughing

and crying at the same time :)

and It just happened again when i played the videos! :D

Thanks for posting them J'Net
