Every time I listen to their music, there seems to be some line that hits me like a ton of bricks. I can hear a line for the 1000th time and all of a sudden it can bring tears to my eyes (such a dork). One that really hit me was "We're fucked up but we're not the same and mom and dad are the ones you can blame" from Homecoming. I think I just loved the sort of realization that we all have our problems, but you don't have to become destructive to yourself because of it. I just love when JOS realizes he doesn't need St. Jimmy anymore. I also LOVE "the space that's in between insane and insecure." Im pretty sure it's a real place a lot of people have experienced.
