badwolf
iViva La Gloria! is a master piece song. She smashed her knuckles into winter. As autumns wind fades into black. She is the saint on all the sinners. The one that's fallen through the cracks.
thisisAB
And I've been obsessed with On the Ave. by PHGP.....that song is brilliant.I know I go through phases where all I do is listen to that song. It's definately brilliant!"red eye, code blue, I'd like to strangle you and watch your eyes bulge right out of your skull. when you go down headfirst into the ground, I'll stand above you just to piss on your grave."When I'm pissed off, I cant help loving that.same, my favourite line form the song "i beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies"-holidayi always sing that to myself without realizing ...haha I just realized I do that too. Those aren't my fave lyrics form the song though.

J'net
In 21 Guns, I love this lyric, but it's also made 100 times more effective by the way the music changes and the way Billie sings it:"Did you try to live on your ownwhen you burned down the house and home?Did you stand to close to the fireLike a liar looking for forgiveness from a stone?"Beautiful. Hermione
I really love those! And, to continue a conversation started on facebook, right now I'm really taken by:I am the atom bombI am your chosen one. This reminds me of the comment Billie made in one of the early mag articles about the album. He said something about how Adie worries about the end of the world, and then he said something like, "The problem is, I think she married the end of the world."That's so funny, that comment stuck in my mind too and I keep thinking of it when I'm listening to the album! It sums up the characters of Gloria and Christian perfectly, he might as well have been talking about them! I guess it shows how much the characters really are a reflection of him. I love that about the album, the fact that he uses these characters doesn't get in the way of the songs being personal at all. It really feels like he's baring his soul. Kaddi.
There are so many, but right now my favorite is"Desperate, but not hopeless" It's such a short line, but it's expressing quite a lot. I don't know how to explain it, I just feel personally connected to it.
