Is it weird that I'm excited to see Russell Brand tear them apart?

Hopefully they play outside or something for a special crowd, because I know I sure as hell don't want to be forced to stick around for fucking Taylor Swift.

They stuck around for Shakira and Snoopaloop last time around

Now that you mention Russel Brand, I just remembered how many times he owned the Jo Bros last year, lmao now I'm excited what he'll say about the guys.

Really?? Shakira? I love that bitch, she's from Colombia. Awesome that they stayed for her.

If Russell Brand and Green Day will be there then it's definitely worth watching.

I wonder how hard it would be to get tickets for this.

ohh this is great, i hope they play before the lobotomy or restless heart syndrome. thatd be bitchin'. or you know what, they should just play something obscure like tightwad hill. not that they would, but the thought of it is nice. i just hope they don't play kye or 21 guns. i mean, i like the songs but they should do something more unexpected.

the only bad part is that i'll have to sit through russell brand's god-awful routine. he fails to amuse me in the least. in fact i quite detest him. if he says anything about my green day, i'll kill.

I think they sing 21 guns ... they're usually forced to sing the single out, but maybe they do a little medley of 3 songs ...

Awesome! Although this means I have to actually make myself watch the VMAs this year.

That's exactly what I said on ONTD! Oh well, Russell Brand provided a few laughs last year (why I watched last year, I have no idea, probably for no reason other than to procrastinate on school work!), since he's back this year, him + GD should be alright. :D

And just think folks, when 21CB racks up the multiple Grammy nominations, they'll probably perform at the Grammys next year too! :)

Damn I didnt know train tickets could be that much in Europe
yep. i have to pay like 180$ for the tickets so me and my mom can see them in dortmund. which is like 4 hours away from hamburg... now think about the price when you have to ride through whole countries.

You should also know that American Idiot band Green Day will be on hand to sing a song from their latest rock opera, 21st Century Breakdown. Do you “Know Your Enemy?” You will after these VMA regulars hit the stage.

this was on the VMA's website, so I'm guessing it will really be KYE :/ I hope not, though.

and I don't like Russell Brand, ugh. Good to know that GD will save the night.

Iwas gonna watch it anyway because of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift :x

Will there be some sort of live feed of the VMAs on mtv.com or something? I really want to watch it for the sake of Green Day and Muse.

Wow thats crazy and all this time I thought trains were made out to be an affordable way to travel in Europe, guess I was wrong about that especially if you have to ride through another country

It's their 3rd VMA performance, I believe.

They want to play KYE? I guess that would be good to get people pumped up, but I was expecting 21 Guns since it's the new single.

It doesn't really matter though; either song would be awesome.

I knew it already,dude.

i just wonder why he did use this phrase?!!

I'm wondering what Billie means by "memorable experience." I'm thinking their performance is going to be extremely epic or something. I'm really excited to see what they are going to pull this year. Hopefully, Billie Joe wasn't using his words loosely - I hope we see something totally awesome; more awesome than usual Green Day.

And are you sure that he never use his words loosely?
