Modern Zero.
What about those seven songs that were on KROQ radio when Green Day did an interview with them before the album came out? The seven songs that we got to hear before it came out? Because I was thinking, maybe those are the songs that will be singles. Idk....It's just my theory I guess, but the songs that were played on KROQ were: East Jesus Nowhere, 21 Guns, Know Your Enemy, Restless Heart Syndrome, Before The Lobotomy, 21st Century Breakdown, and American Eulogy. Three of those are already singles, but I doubt that they're going to have seven singles but they might be chosen from these seven and like DarrenDookie said. It's got to be the ones that they're playing live..well they're not playing Restless Heart Syndrome, but they're playing the other six.I'm really hoping that American Eulogy is one of them. Supermodel*Robot
Its gonna be a song they play live. So no Peacemaker(thank god), either of the Glorias, See The Light, etc.If they release LNOE as a single I will lose a little faith in them, even I(a Green Day fanatic) would change the radio station if that song came on.For me EJN is the obvious choice, because I think theyre releasing similar types of songs as off American IdiotKYE = AI21 Guns = BOBDEJN = HolidayJust makes sense to methat's exactly what I think. Except I see 21 guns more as WMUWSE. It's one of the reasons that the new album is a touch disappointing, despite all of those being great songs. It just sucks a bit that they convey the same things as AI.
Modern Zero.
that's exactly what I was thinking about.but I guess 7 singles is a little alot.6 singles is enoughYeah. Well, they don't play Restless Heart Syndrome live, so maybe that's not one of them. In that case the singles would be, Know Your Enemy, 21 Guns, East Jesus Nowhere, 21st Century Breakdown, American Eulogy, and The Static Age. But I really do think that Restless Heart Syndrome should be a single also because it ties into "Know Your Enemy" and some people will catch that connection. And also, It's just an amazing powerful song. It's really hard to choose, and although I LOVE The Static Age, I kind of hope that RHS is a single instead just because it's so good, and then the "Know Your Enemy" part. Know Your Enemy, 21 Guns, and East Jesus Nowhere are definate singles...I think that they have to have 21st Century Breakdown out because that's the name of the whole album...and it's very likely that American Eulogy could be a single just beause of how epic it is and how awesome it would be to hear Mike's voice on the radio. lol

tvrman
Since we know EJN is the next single (they just released an edited version of the song for the radio, so this is now confirmed)Do you mean that EJN will be ANOTHER edited song for the radio ? They really hurt 21 Guns by editing it, why can they not leave their songs alone ?tvrman
04rebhop
Last night on earth would make a really nice video. I like that song. I think it would be another WMUSE. It would be cool if they made Christians Inferno a video, as i really like that song, but i doubt they will.
emmaILGD!
American Eulogy will be one, but EJN will be next. And how do you know that?So it's pretty much confirmed that EJN will be the next single, I'm hoping the video will be better than 21 Guns and KYE. And 21CB has at least 5 more songs on it than AI. So would 7 singles really be so hard to believe?
fletcher-999
I agree with the people who've said EJN should have a video based around a church, it seems fitting to the song, having Billie preaching on the alter.... I don't know if they will do it like that but to me it seems relevant to the song

MusicalDeviant
Green Days Facebook just said that they will be filming a video for "21st century breakdown" with Marc Webb.I saw. I just hope its this month before the 19th that they start filming. And that they film in LA, since they filmed the previous two videos for this album here. Because that would be awesome. And would give me a chance to find them.
