Hellcat
im going to all Australian shows.I guess since their going to be Arena /Stadium shows I gotta be their early in the morning.I already plan to wear the same shirt to every show. Orange Husker Du shirt. So I stand out (just like mum used to make me wear bright colors to the royal easter show incase i got lost I would stand out haha)So If I'm down the front for every show in the same shirt. they should recognize me going spastic.Although they would probably think I have bad hygeine wearing the same top to all the shows haha. And in the event i was pulled up on stage i would probably try to ask a million questions haha. Robin105
I'd lie and say I could play guitar but I really can't. I think it would be so funny. "GET OFF THE STAGE!" I'd be cracking up so hard. Someone should try that.
Teenage Kicks!
^ Ah I wouldn't wanna waste time. Even though I can play. But I might forget once I got up there. XDSo what I've learned from this thread is to get Mr Armstrongs attention...and go fucking crazy? Correct? Haha

-Nemesis-
I think that the point is to fully enjoy the moment and not being shy or something. That's how I felt at least, and givenwhat I saw in the videos, they were having fun too while I was singing ( 'cause I said an encouraging "COME ON!" to the crowd, they were not expecting that at all ^^ )

-Nemesis-
Aha in fact, adrenaline helped me a lot I guess. As soon as I saw him right in front of me asking for me to come on stage, I became someone else... Seriously, I couldn't imagine myself singing in the front of 600 people with Mr Armstrong's cheek right next to mine lol. I had some friends in the crowd, they all told me they would never have expected somthing like this from me. They just couldn't believe that it was me up on stage making the show and entertaining the crowd.Somehow, the best thing I keep from this day is that they were all enjoying it with me... The band, my friends, and the whole crowd. That's a feeling I can't even describe...

Hermione
I always enjoy reading people's experiences with the band, or watching them on youtube. I love that they've kept this cool tradition through the years, it's one of the things that just sets them apart from other bands. You can see they enjoy it as much as the fans who get pulled up! Unfortunately I can play no musical instruments, but I really hope they do Knowledge at the show I go to in October, I'd love to see it for myself
jacknovella
What a great thread this turned out to be Thanks for the all the stories guys, and the best of luck to anyone who's been hoping to get up on stage with them.
Jacinta
Oh cool, I mean, I'm going to one of their concerts in October in Birmingham, UK, and seen as I'm standing at the front theres a fraction of a percentage of a chance that I might be pulled up. So I was just curious about it.I mean, if they pull you up to play instruments, how do they know you can play? Surely someone with no musical experience (such as myself ) couldn't just get up there and play?At the show I was talking about the guy they got up to play guitar had only been playing for 4 months. He did pretty well.
