Your Favorite Green Day Album

Tough call between AI and 21CB....both albums pushed their envelope well outside the classic punk of their older albums, but lyrically I think 21CB has a slight edge over AI. So does their ability to pull off ballads, classic rock, punk, and power-pop styles, and link it all so well under a single banner.

i love them all to much, my order of preference changes all the time but for now, 21CB is probably my fave, but that is very very closely followed by warning and dookie, they are all very close and the one i love the most usually depends on which album i'm listening to at the time

Mine is actually 21st Century Breakdown, its grown on me so fast, just so musically talented and this i feel is the only album that has proved each of the guys great talent musically, lyrically etc

I agree. 21st Century Breakdown, is sort of unusual for Green Day, because a lot of the music is much slower, and then more up-beat, but music changes, and for Green Day, it can only get better!

American Idiot by quite some margin. Runner ups are Insomniac, Warning and 21st CB.

AI had it all together perfectly, not a single weak song and the story was relatively easy to follow compared to 21st CB.

I'd call that an album that is very hard to beat.
