Which one is better? 21st Century Breakdown or American Idiot? You decide!

I love American Idiot because I can relate to it and I love how it is written and the story is told. I love Jesus of Subrbia as the character itself. I even painted my room like JoS had in the Video.

I don't know, if I can relate that much to Christian and Gloria though I have, and had even before Billie said it, the same point of view about Religion and stuff, but that'll come by and by i think and hope.

I'm more apt to say 21st Century Breakdown right now, just because I'm really into the new album (sorta addicted here) and I've been listening to it non-stop. After about a week or so, I might say likewise (or not) because I'll have probably stopped listening to the album like, once a day / every other day.

Though, I'm always gonna love that American Idiot really got me into Green Day. And I like the organizational structure better on AI than on 21st Century Breakdown. Much more linear.

It is hard to compare at the moment, one is so fresh and one I have listened to a trillion times and know every note and nuance from. At the moment AI has the edge, but as I get to know 21CB more intimately, that may well change.

I think 21st Century Breakdown is just a compilation of everything they've ever done. I've heard a LOT of easily recognizable (nearly) copies of their old songs in the new album. I heard Deadbeat Holiday and Letterbomb in there. I just don't find it that impressive when I feel like I heard it all already.

The reason I like 21CB over AI is because Gloria seems like she could 'take out' Whatsername and Christian is much more interesting than St. Jimmy/JOS. Also, American Idiot, the song, is just disgraceful.

American Idiot, but not by much.

Both awesome albums, still if i remember correctly, I enjoyed AI more the first time I listened to that (though it might be because it was the first GD album I heard).

For the three other singles (KYE and 21 Guns already) I would like:

Before the Lobotomy

21st Century Breakdown (as JOS)

I don't really like either KYE or 21 guns. Would say both are in the bottom five of my favorite songs from this album (along Last Night on Earth, Static Age and Christian's Inferno)
