jose armstrong Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I also wondered why it was posted on there. It's depressing to think that the album's wedged in between 'LOOK TOPLESS GIRL' and 'WHY IMMIGRANTS ARE FUCKING US OVER'.not worse than one of Green Day''s videos appearin on MTV,,,,,,,,,,, during the Hills' credits
Dai. Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Last Night on Earth and 21 Guns are incredibly emotional. Those are probably my two favorite songs off the album in terms of just pure amazing writing and sound.OMFG they're my favorites too! We appear to have a lot in common, I see (H)
Kate Austen Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Furthermore, if this FLAC is real (which many are saying it is) - then sorry to let some of you down, but the album really is mastered that loud. So if you hated how it sounded before, this sounds better - but not much better. Obviously CD rip is more crisp, but it's still REALLY loud.
nirvanayoda Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Kate, the FLAC isn't real. If there were a real copy floating around, there would be a scene rip. The fact that there is no scene rip is usually indicative of a streaming webrip.

As I said before, only thing that looked fishy was track 1 (but that was mastered like shit for an effect). You have any additional info to say it's 100% not real? lol - at this point, I'm just saying fuck it. What i have now (real or fake V0) sounds great to me. I'll just wait to buy the CD on the 15th.
Haz Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I love both the Viva La Glorias and I really like Murder city. I havn't listened to all of them yet cos I can't be bothered, lol.
littlelune2003 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 OK so I am liking the album. A lot. Relieved for sure!
parinaz Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Viva La Gloria(Little Girl) at the beginning....it's kinda russian balalaika,if someone know what I mean It's probably my favorite too.....but they're all great anywayyeh it sounds Ausian a liitle bit.I fell in love with 21Guns. they are all beautiful and last night .....I'm glad that they use piano
01casey Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I'm really enjoying the album, up to American Eulogy now. Up to now, the stand out tracks have to be Before the Lobotomy, Christian's Inferno (which gave me goosebumps of delight), Murder City, and Restless Heart Syndrome. Really liking the album as a whole though.
Mato Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I'm really nervous and mad, but I'm gonna wait one more week. It's not the same feeling when opening the cd box and putting the cd in the player--I waited for 5 years goddammit, I can wait one more week.
01casey Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 It used to bother me but it doesn't anymore, I just treat it as if it has released today. Of course I'll buy it still
Green Daynger25 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Listen to it today people. What if you die tomorrow at least you heard the new album. No Regrets!!!

It's not the same feeling when opening the cd box and putting the cd in the player--I waited for 5 years goddammit, I can wait one more week. There's no need to get all bent out of shape because of it. Just listen to a few tracks to control your anger :whistling;Maybe it's because I never got into buying CDs (hehe, online ftw) but I don't see why some people have to have the CD in their hands before listening to it.This album is damn great. Don't punish yourself by waiting and just relieve all that stress now
OWfx Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Just listened to the album 4 times in FLAC. Love it!!! One or two songs arent my cup of tea, two slow and boring yet one or two slow songs Iv'e fallen in love with! Now listening to the ones I really like for a while.Sounds like a best of of all their sounds. Bit of Dookie here bit of AI here etc
Mrs. Nobody Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 i've relistened, they've already grown on me =Pedit: zooomg little girl is the 'misery' of this album
novacaine_kid Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 i think horseshoes and handgrenades is the best song ive heard from any band in years! billie really goes for it a million and one percent on that one. i can only imagine what that sounds like live. and i kid you not, my speakers have died.. the album blew out my speakers. im astounded by this album.. how in holy hell did they do it?

For me, the guitar riff really is a rip off of that Hives song (and since' ive heard that song so many times) - this sounds unoriginal.
Bexie. Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 i love love love restless heart syndrome... im only half way through the album but me likes mikes part in american eulogy...is it?and ive decided i very much like billie joes sceams :teehee:
