day1_9
I liked the security camera angle. And the helicopters. But did anyone come after them? Did the "enemy" come after them and try to stop them? No. Just random helicopters and security camera footage, at one point showing a capitol building not actually in LA. Bayer made actual videos. This is just pretentious live footage by another name. Are you reading my mind
MusicalDeviant
thats because they know their enemyWas it making sense? because clearly they did all they could to avoid it.

Fauxfink
I feel like this video was made just to make a video. Is there anything we can really take away from it? It's not very creative, just a teaser.
farley drexel hatcher
And the video's simplicity carries over to the album. After all, as the first single of a huge album, this thing could've been a special-effects enhanced, green-screen infused trainwreck. But instead, it's powerful and straightforward: Here's Green Day. They rock. Watch them do so. When the band is this good and the music so fist-pumpingly raucous, there's really nothing else you need to say. Alex.
they could have made this like the bandit version of in the shadows by the rasmus.. that would have been epic.

It's not very creative, just a teaser.Maybe it's not supposed to be the greater meaning to life music video. It's them performing, which is what they do best. This is like the WTP video with a budget.
