The show was amazing!!! Best night of my life! I was front and center against the stage right in front of Billie Joe! Hopefully they'll play some more hometown shows again soon! I still can't believe they played "The Grouch" and "Worry Rock"!!! Ahhh!!! So cool!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. How about writing us a recap of your memories so those of us who didn't get to go can pretend we were there?

Welcome to the forum! Or as I used to say: Welcome to paradise! :D

I'll try to make it.

Did I just waste 30 cents for a message to tell you that while you´re still here!? :pinch:

Okay! I hope we can get some more people to join us! Paulina´s bringing friends...probably.

haha sure!!

So, let's see where to begin?

Umm I arrived at the DNA lounge at around 5:30 and was about the 5th person in line. I stood around for about two hours waiting outside and then at around 7:30, a black van pulled up and out walked Tre, Billie Joe, Mike and Jason White! I smiled and yelled, "Hey Tre!" and then all 4 of them smiled and waved back. Soon security guards of the club told us to get into three lines- one line with people who had tickets, the 2nd line with people who were part of the Idiot Club and the third line with people who had no tickets. I was then the first person in line with tickets and was the first person to walk into the club (well technically the first person, they let about 6 VIP people in before me).

Anyways when I got inside I rushed to the front of the stage. We waited for what seemed like forever, and then Green Day finally came on stage at 10:30. Billie Joe walked right up in front of me and I touched his leg (hehe). They then started to play their whole new album, which sounded AWESOME. It was a mixture of fast and slow songs. I smiled at Tre a couple of times and he responded with some silly faces. When they were playing one of their new songs, I think it was "Little Girl", Billie Joe got down on his knees, looked at me right in the face and sang the line, "naughty girl". Haha. It was so cool!

When they came on for the second set, the crowd got really wild. During "American Idiot" and "Jesus of Suburbia" I was really squished against the stage, but managed to survive. haha. During the show they were taking requests and one girl requested "The Grouch." Well, Billie Joe forgot some of the lyrics so he had the girl come up on stage and sing the song!! They also played "Worry Rock" and "80" which was totally surreal. When they played "Going to Pasalacqua" Billie Joe had Davey Havok come down from the upper section and sing some of the verses!

I had a fantastic time, I think this was by far the best show I have ever seen. Watching Green Day perform in a small club was incredible.

Thanks for sharing that. It sounds incredible! I know what you mean about the small club, because I was on the front row for two of their Foxboro shows. I wouldn't trade those two experience for anything!

Aren't they just amazing?!?!?!?!

that is unbelievable! I wished i lived in LA, so i could attend the secret/small shows. that upclose feeling must be like none other.

That's even more awesome when Billie sung a line from the song to you.

I think I´ll remember your face when we meet again :D

I remember that part when he got down on his knees and were right in front of us, so close! I mean, close!!

And all the moments when Mike got down on his! He was right in front of me, that was really great! And Billie looks even prettier in person than on pictures!!!

The crowd got really wild, that´s true. My chest got pressed on the stage all the time and this morning I noticed that my chest really hurts. I guess it´s from last night :/ Oh well, it was worth it :D

And I totally agree with the last line!!! This was more than I ever expected (from my life)! Special, just...special  Very intimate and personal! I wish I could manage to come on every club show they will ever play! I wouldn´t trade that night with anything!!!

Okay, I will stop now

:(
