Zalex
Green Day doesn't care about the fans. Well, maybe not, it's just because they want the lucky ones to got there, to still be the lucky ones.seriously, i cannot even begin to describe how angry this statement makes me.you're just jealous of the people there.remember the days before these live feeds online were not possible? before all the technology?well that is the time that they are from and maybe they want to keep things that way.they want to keep it intimate.they'll come to your area soon. portugueseninja
You'd think though that the management behind booking these shows would have been aware of the situation regarding the live stream. So would have either used a different club, or told them in advance that they didn't want to broadcast live. The venue must have known that with a band like Green Day there'd be a lot of people interested in watching live so if they knew it wasn't possible they could have said already that it won't happen. But then they could still just say that it's off for the whole show and not that about technical difficulties or awaiting a response from the band or whoever.Or maybe they actually are. I guess we'll see.More caffeine required. Why isn't Starbucks open at 5am. Booooooo.
JAS0N
Seriously though are you guys surprised?DNA Management: Can we have permission to live broadcast you playing your entire unreleased album. After we show it your album will be freely out in the public for everyone to hear!Green Day: Fuck no.
Justice Not Charity
you know.. someone earlier mentioned this.. what about the years before we had all this technology? where we could watch live shows hundreds of miles away or when we could watch videos on youtube of concerts the next day after they happen? i personally love when billie joe says to put the phones away "youtube can't own everything. lets make our own memories" isnt that the whole point of going to see the band? to experience that moment? i feel like we've gotten spoiled with all this technology. i mean i want there to be a stream because im dying to hear the songs with good quality..but hey dont be so mad at them if they dont let us watch it. its no big deal. we'll hear all these songs in a month and see them when the stop in our towns throughout the year.. As much as I'd loooove to see this and will be disappointed if I cant, I completely understand why they arent doing it and it will just make my first Green Day show, whether it be an arena show or small venue be extra special. And LOLOLOL @ THE PICTURE OF THE PLANE IN THE WATER.MOAR LOLZ PIX PLZ! mad hatter.
I've got to admit, I'm pretty disappointed. If they're not going to let the fans that CAN'T be there watch the goddamn show, then at least come to us or give us some sort of chance to see them like this. It kinda really sucks that the people on the West Coast get such benefits, like with FHT and now these small venues.
