I mean, I bet this time five years ago, with "I Fought the Law" being used in that Pepsi commercial, I doubt anyone would have expected American Idiot to be as wonderful as it is. Not to say that cover wasn't amazing, because it was a really great cover. And it did preview the sound that Green Day used for American Idiot. But in no way did it really scream "comeback." So while I may not necessarily be feeling the songs we've heard to date, I'm still open and willing to give Green Day the benefit of the doubt.It's still good enough to get ME excited, but then, I love them, I'm devoted, and easy to please Yeah, lovin' that scream!!!Wantin' that video ... I noticed one part where I think they didn't match the video with the audio, because Billie's lip movements weren't in synch with the music - he was in profile and it was really noticeable. I like to look for little things like that, but I'm trying to be patient. I noticed, that, too, the first and fourth and fifth time I've watched it I love those who love phil collins because I love him tooI love Phil Collins...
