I've updated the links for that audio on both GDA and the first post here.

Matt will be sending me the link to the video once it finishes uploading, and I'll post it up in the GDA news right away.

Does anyone else think that the songs we've heard so far sound a little passionless? The versus are a little long and repeat the same melody, and way of singing, without the little inflections and extra bits of oomph that Green Day usually use on the second repeat of choruses and when singing versus a second time around in a song.

It kind of sounds like they're playing and singing to a metronome. If you know what that is, you'll understand what I mean.

Its good. But it is no follow up to American Idiot, which liked to thrown personal outbursts of oomph and such throughout songs.

Example of what I mean by all of this:

- American Idiot, when billie joe sings for the second time "television dreams of tomorrow" is a little faster, and more condensed, with more pronounced harmony.

- Geek Stink Breath, with each repetition of the chorus bringing better harmonies, each time around improving.

I can see what you mean, KYE does seem more polished, but it's still, so far, a good song... Plus, there are A LOT of songs we haven't heard yet, so who knows what's to come?

I agree... It did sound like it might get better towards the very end of it though, but the fucking thing cut off. I'm trying not to judge it too much because we've only heard 90 sec.- so it doesn't stop me from feeling completely hyped up for the new album :woot:
