Angela.
to be fair, the newer members are obliged to say this.I can understand what you're saying. I've been coming to GDA for a good couple of years now. I just haven't bothered to make a GDC account until recently, though. (Extreme procrastination, I suppose. )

KeRpLuNkXxX
They are my favorite band, they will always be although I don't listen to them every single day and I love other bands as well but Green Day are special for me, they are different for me and any other band will mean the same as they mean to me. Nele
I do, that's it.But I'm not the 11 year old teenie anymore.I changed, Green Day did too.edit: I just realized that today. I thought I would going crazy about the special vinyl thingy, but nothing. I guess I'm just not that hyper about everything they do...

MrGreenDayUK
Dunno... not as much as I used to, haven't listened to anything from anything other than Dookie for ages. But I listened to Dookie all the way through the other day and thought, yeah, this is still really good. I think it's best enjoyed as part of a package, like, Dookie along with your NOFX, your Jawbreaker, your Rancid, your Screeching Weasel, whatever. But I still maintain it's a fucking good album. rootbeersoup
thats awesome.I probably would have never bought a guitar if there was no incentive for it to have it hold itself up with a strapOnce I got a guitar, I played in front of a mirror to make sure I looked cool playing guitar all by myself in my room. Even then I was restriced to playing one string at a time because chords were too overly complex for me.

J'net
I still really love them, and that's the only reason I'm part of GDA and this forum. I can't understand people who come here for the other threads. If I want to chat about anything and everything, I do that with my friends face to face. I come here because most of my friends here in Oklahoma aren't as musically driven as I am and aren't Green Day fans. I hardly ever participate in the non-Green Day threads here (though sometimes I do, because I have made friends here that I enjoy just conversing with). But the reason I'm here is Green Day. If I stop liking Green Day, I'll ask my GDC friends to meet me on facebook, and I'll disappear from here.
