Jess:)
That article doesn't seem very accurate. For one thing, he laments about the fact that they're haven't been many original musicals in the last decade, but forgets to mention Next To Normal, Grey Gardens, Passing Strange, In The Heights, Avenue Q, Billy Elliot, The Light In the Piazza, and you can see where I'm going with this...To make this post legit, here's Tony singing holiday:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zb8vB0ghMIQ

Supermodel*Robot
Ah, I need to know soon. My mum wants to know soon or else she's just buying Billy Elliot tickets, which would be fabulous, but wouldn't be life-changing. :/
Sarahnade.
I hope the September is wrong. Spring is even kind of iffy for me; I'd much rather it come here in the summer so my friend and I can go up to Broadway and stay for a while, maybe see more than one show. GDM
Later in the year gives them more time to make the move... and the Green Day tour will be coming to a close around then and give the boys more time to spend in NYC... who knows, these things take time. It will be here when it gets here...

Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love
I really really hope they'll make a DVD for it when it hits Broadway. I see the chance of it going to the Netherlands quite small
Sarahnade.
^Hahaha, Sanne. I hope they make a DVD, especially for the people that can't go and actually see it. I hope to make it to Broadway when it comes; my friend who can drive said she'd like to go and she'd take me. But even if I do see it, I want a DVD. MassHysteria
So, my good friend Vince (who several of you know) emailed the guy who wrote the article listing the September opening date, and here is what he said:Hi Vince, Ouch, I just re-traced my steps and saw that the Rolling Stone piece I was using is an old one that says it "would be" opening in September 2009 at Berkeley Rep, not on Broadway in September 2010. Bad "two hours before vacation and rushing to file" error. Sorry to cause any confusion ... Thanks for pointing it out. Can't wait to see the show, whenever that turns out to beSo looks like it was a mix up like I originally thought! Sorry for getting anyones hopes up! incendiary girl
I've been hearing that they've been waiting for the St. James Theater to open up for awhile now. The closing announcement for Finian's Rainbow (the show that currently occupies the St. James) just went up last night. The theater will be available after January 17th. Today I woke up to several emails (and one very happy tweet) speculating that the official transfer announcement could come as early as next week. Just throwing that out there.
