sundaymorning6am
First off, you have to be an Equity member to audition. And I believe that you can to call to reserve a spot so I'm guessing they'll give you a date & time then. I'm a firm believer in the lost art of 'crashing' though. If you really, REALLY want to try to audition, f*ck it and go. Prepare yourself and maybeeeeeee they'll see you at the end!
jtdscape
I think I will be using my tickets from the Idiot Nation this sunday. Just waiting for a reply from the Idiot Nation people.
sundaymorning6am
A bit off-topic (sorry!) but I didn't want to start an entirely new thread for one question: Is it worth joining the Idiot Club right now? Feel free to message me if you want to forget that I ever invaded in this thread with an off-topic question! Thanks

Feel free to message me if you want to forget that I ever invaded in this thread with an off-topic question! Thanks Yeah this isnt the right section. Use the Green Day Question and Answer thread from now on. The Idiot Club is doing a video chat with Chris Dugan next week but thats all that they are really doing right now. So right now I dont feel that it is worth joining. If they keep doing these chats then then it would be.
plaid ducky
Just a heads up, Jimmy: Unless you made an Idiot Nation reservation a while ago, every show left in Billie's run is already reserved.

Ah really :/ so I guess last night isnt long enough ago. How does student rush work?
plaid ducky
Yeah... By the end of January the only open dates available for Idiot Nation were 2/3 and 2/9. Heh. Student Rush is pretty much show up at the box office at any time after it opens and request a student rush ticket. Make sure to have your student I'd, although sometimes they don't even check. The ticket is $27 and the location varies depending on the fill, could be the rear center orchestra or partial view balcony. It's suppose to be one ticket per I'd but some box office guys allow two per ID.

sundaymorning6am
So here's an on-topic question (phew!): What's the deal with Van as Tunny this weekend? Will he be going on tonight and just not on Saturday and Sunday nights? Or is Stark on tonight? Thanks
plaid ducky
Van is scheduled to go on for the matinees this weekend. Stark was back yesterday so my guess is he'll be on tonight. Van keeps his FB (which isn't private) updated to when he'll go on so you can always check on there for last minute changes.

plaid ducky
According to Deadline Hollywood, Stark has joined the cast of the pilot for a new CBS show. This doesn't mean that he's leaving Idiot. However, if the pilot gets picked up, he probably will. Judy Marte, Tom Reed and Stark Sands have joined Leelee Sobieski in the CBS' drama pilot Rookies, an ensemble cop show from writer Richard Price, which is executive produced by Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal. In the James Mangold-directed pilot, about six NYPD rookies who balance their personal lives with learning the beat on the streets of Manhattan, Marte, Reed, Sands and Sobieski play 4 of the rookies. Marte (Raising Victor Vargas) is with Greene & Assoc. and managers Eunice Lee & Tim Jordan.

alaniluau
A few thousand dollars and miles later, I have officially seen Idiot on Broadway. It was one of my best nights in recent memory. Omar was such a sweetheart and Davey is just beautiful! So sad I'll be back in Cali for his run.
sundaymorning6am
I saw the matinee. Van was great as Tunny. He has a few moments of superb acting choices and the rest is just the same as how Stark portrays Tunny. He has a great voice. I felt he was a more vulnerable Tunny because he's a smaller person than Stark. He has a great voice too. Glad I saw it today but the last twenty or so minutes of the show, the cast seemed absolutely knackered and John Gallagher didn't even seem to give his all during his solo in "Good Riddance." But yeah, the cast's energy level definitely declined towards the end. BJA was great, and Esper wasn't even losing his high notes at the end despite seeming exhausted. BJA was taking his time getting off the stage after the encore and he looked at me, so I waved and I'm not positive, but I think he may have waved back. There were a lot of cute moments of kisses and whatnot between Esper and Gallagher, and a few between Gallagher and BJA too. BJA started playing 'Pinball Wizard' before playing Good Riddance which was kinda cool.
Tripe
Wallace posted on his FB that one of the male cast members had a death in the family today and lost his father. Not sure who it was or if it was a sudden loss, but thoughts and prayers to the family.
