Went to the show tonight after my friend managed to see lotto, and I managed to meet my two main AI goals, seeing Billie from lotto seats and seeing Dec!Will!!! lol. I was out of town last time Dec was on, so I um, totally ditched my plans tonight and ran down to the theater (I've been a fan of Dec's since his Rent tour days). Such a great show tonight, I thought Billie sounded great tonight, so extra props to him if he's sick. So many bloopers/randomness, from Billie forgetting the smack and Johnny having to run to get it, to Dec managing to knock the couch cushion off the couch twice, the first time knocking over the beer bottles on the tv putting it back (I may or may not have one of those beer bottles now *whistles*), Billie's jeans falling off his ass from KYE onward, Alysha saying "you did it" instead of the last "yeah" at the end of TMTS, Dec trying to do an American accent, but failing...'twas totally worth going last minute. lol.

Oh, and I don't know if it's been mentioned, Gallagher's leaving to do another show, I believe the most prevalent rumor is The Illusion, which Michael Meyer is directing for Signature Theatre Company.

Re: John... yeah, that's what I was told when I found out that he was leaving, that he was going to do a play. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the Illusion. That starts production April 19th. But it could be another show. I think it's the more prevalent rumor because it's Michael Mayer and those two like working with each other. However, I'm trying to figure out if John would/could play the son in that play. I don't think he is old enough for the lead role.

He came back *right* before the big crescendo where he shoots her up, and grabbed a syringe and just jabbed her so they would be in the right spot. LOL. Rebecca covered nicely by singing in the direction he ran off, like she was looking after him. It kinda felt like St. Jimmy was singing to Watsername though.

The actual reason I said The Illusion is that someone actually told me what show it is, but I have a really shitty memory and don't remember. Then someone randomly mentioned The Illusion to me and it sounded really familiar. *shrug* Guess we'll find out soon enough. Timing-wise, I think it fits.

I suppose I don't really mind, though. I'm really glad I'm going to get to see it on Broadway with the original cast and Billie as St Jimmy.

Yes, I think most of the GDC people are holding out for BJA's birthday show and/or the final St. Billie performance. Sorry to hear he is not feeling well, hope he doesn't have to skip any shows. How much would that suck to make the trip in from out of town mostly to see him in the role only to have it played by an understudy?

Guys, I feel so fucking blessed right now. Seriously.

Last night, me and my friends waited at the theatre to the right of stage door for almost two hours before the show (because we had run out of other things to do by then). We froze to death but I wouldn't take any of it back because I MET JOHNNY. AND HAD A CONVERSATION WITH HIM.

Okay, so. We were standing there, quietly talking among ourselves, and at around 6:40-7 ish (I think), Johnny came and I stopped him and gave him the roses and the letter. He seemed really flattered and it was just amazing. I kind of feel bad, because the first words I blurted out were "I just want to tell you I love you, and you're amazing" and it was awkward. LOL. I didn't want to creep him out, but it just kind of slipped out. The things I had planned to say to him kind of didn't work out (mostly because he kept smiling THAT FUCKING ADORABLE SMILE and it was just like OMG HE'S SO CUTTEEEE.) But seriously, I gave him the flowers and the letter and I explained that I didn't want to take up his time, and he was like "no, it's ok," and he kept saying "that's so sweet, thank you!" And then he was like "are you seeing the show tonight?" and I was like "no, but I saw it three times. That's why there's three flowers" and he kind of laughed and was like "how symbolic." And then HE REMEMBERED ME. HE FUCKING REMEMBERED ME. He made the most adorable face and was like "have we met before? You seem familiar." and I was like "um briefly..." I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THE FUCK HE REMEMBERED ME BUT OMG IT'S AMAZING THAT HE DID. (I told him about the time I did get a picture with him during Billie's first run in the letter, so it will hit him when he reads it (if he hasn't already). And then he asked my name and I told him and then he shook my hand. And I was like "can I have a hug?" and he was like "yeah. absolutely!" and HE HUGGED ME and I was just like It was the best .5 seconds of my life. And then I asked him for a picture (which I hadn't intended to do, but he didn't seem in a hurry, so I asked and he said "yeah! of course" and then I thanked him again and my friend wished him a good show and he went in.

SIGH It was so amazing! Mission accomplished!

I really hope he read my letter because I basically told him how big of an inspiration he is and how much his music touches me and

One thing I will say, though, was that me and my friends were particularly disgusted with the behavior of three girls that were waiting around as well. Before Johnny came, Rebecca, Miguel, Christina, Alysha, Jeanna, Gerard, and Aspen showed up about forty minutes before he did. These girls were standing about five feet away (in front of the box office) and EVERY SINGLE TIME one of the cast went to go into the theatre these girls SCREAMED at them and ran over to get a picture. I'm sorry, but that is just completely crossing the line, and to me was completely disrespectful and over the top. Since me and my friends were waiting on the right side of the theatre (in front of the restaurant right next to it) we saw all the cast members that came before Johnny, but we didn't stop any of them because they all looked in a hurry. I feel really bad for Rebecca, mostly, because they SCREAMED at her and ran over like they were attacking her. It was extremely obnoxious, rude, and disrespectful. I sincerely sincerely hope that none of those girls are GDC-ers, because that is just inappropriate behavior. And if they are on here, I'm sorry, but you should be ashamed of yourselves.

My friend was worried that John would come from the other side and they would approach him in the same manner and he wouldn't want to talk to me or anything. But luckily, he came the same way he did before (from the subway, I assume, but then again I could be wrong) while those girls were in the crowd for lotto, and we quietly went up to him a foot or so from stage door and didn't make a scene or anything, (which I'm certain he appreciated a lot more than if I were to scream "OH MY GOD JOHN!!!" and run over to him so everyone on the street could see/hear).

(Oh, but those poor girls were clearly there for Billie's entrance, and when he pulled up and ran quickly inside without signing autographs, part of me felt glad (that might make me sound heartless, but clearly their behavior was extremely unnecessary. )

I honestly didn't expect John to stand there with us for more than a minute (but I'm so glad he did!!) and I feel so amazing and lucky that my mission was accomplished. As much as I wish I could see his last show, I'm glad that I got to see him three times in it (as I didn't think I'd even see it once) and I wish him the best of luck in whatever he does in the future.

Holy shit, if that does turn out to be true...are we talking about Signature Theater in Arlington, VA? That's literally 10 minutes from my house and I will *have* to go see him.
