Jaymee!!
Has anyone noticed the price in tickets go up? I decided to randomly search one premium ticket for the evening show on the 27th, and for ONE ticket in row F it was $304 total. ONE ticket. I got 2 tickets in the same row for $400. Is it because the show is getting close to being sold out or because it's a high-demand show?

I think for Mezzanine, and 49 for balcony.

It seems so soon for people to be moving on; it hasn't even been a year since the show opened on Broadway.

I bought my two tickets after it was announced that he would be on that night, and the two of them together were less than $100 more expensive than that one ticket It's no huge concern of mine, I was just mildly curious if anyone else had noticed this. The only price differences I've noticed depend on which day you go and which section/row of course Two words: St. Billie. Oh, and question: Is Tony the first OBC member to leave the show, or have there been others? It seems so soon for people to be moving on; it hasn't even been a year since the show opened on Broadway. I saw the show twice around the opening (without Billie performing) and prices were pretty much the same, but what row you sit in and the day also affects prices No, Tony's not the first I'm not as knowleadgeable as Plaid (who is, LOL) but Mary (Heather), and the original favorite son have also left I'm not sure if there are others

It seems so soon for people to be moving on; it hasn't even been a year since the show opened on Broadway. Heh... technically, Chase Peacock was the first to leave (his injury). He was replaced by Sean Wing who went on for Declan when Declan got injured and Chase returned. Then Sean left. The first to leave-leave was Joshua Henry, who was Favorite Son. Wallace Smith replaced him. Mary Faber (Heather) and Joshua Kobak (swing/St. Jimmy understudy) left on the December 12th. Tony would be the fourth (fifth if you count Chase) OBC to leave. mallorymaloney
I'm so fucking grateful that I saw Tony as Saint Jimmy before his run ended. So, so grateful. ♥ ... I'm also quite fond of the fact that he called me 'sweetheart' when I met him after the show, if only to go around saying things like, 'Hey, what does it mean when Saint Jimmy calls you sweetheart?' in a blasé manner. o_o
GDM
does anyone know the price of standing room only tickets. I believe they've only done it once before, but i get the feeling they might do it again for the upcoming months I tried for lotto tonight and they actually lottoed the standing room only tickets instead of selling them because the show was sold out. They sold them for $27. I don't know if they are going to do that for Billie Joe's run, but I have a feeling they are so that folks don't stampede the box office. I had a chance to get an orchestra ticket for $40, lol, and I didn't take it. I'm an idiot! Just remember, there does come a certain point if you get a deal somehow (if people are selling them outside) to take it. Though I'm pretty sure that the deal I passed up was a once-in-a-lifetime chance, lol. D'oh.
TAG
I went to Tonys last performance tonight. While I was outside with a few friends, Billie walked outside infront of my friends and I. He took a picture with my friend and he was like 'hey how are you' to me before I took my friends picture with him, and then Theo dragged him away not so nicely..It's all good though! We also spoke to Tony before he went inside and we asked him how he felt about tonight being his last performance and he said it was a "bittersweet" feeling. I'm really going to miss him and so glad I went to see his last performance The encore was such a great one for Tonys last performance. Also, the show was COMPLETELY sold out, and both shows were yesterday. Billie was M.I.A from the audience tonight, except for Joey [along with his friend]. Okay thats my recap for tonight and woo for Billie coming in Saturday!

MascaraTears
I'm so glad I got to see tony as st. jimmy... he was really one of the most memorable parts for me, and that's saying a lot because the entire show blew me away and everyone was fantastic... he just put so much creepy, powerful energy into the character, he was PERFECT for the role. I'm definitely excited to see st. billie though
BombingwithBillieJoe
Plaid do you know who the new girl swing is? I'm new to this thread, so sorry if this is horrible question, but what/who's a girl swing?
GDM
except for Joey [along with his friend]. I saw them for a second picking up their tickets. I think that's his cousin (I didn't see him fully), Andrew Humann, who's a pretty fine actor in his own right. I saw Andrew perform in the chorus of a show that a friend of mine was in recently in Berkeley back in September.
plaid ducky
I'm new to this thread, so sorry if this is horrible question, but what/who's a girl swing? A 'swing' is a part of the show. They're cast membera who don't go on every night like the leads (Johnny, Whatsername, etc,) or the ensemble (the non-leads). However, when an ensemble member is out of a performance, a swing fills in their spot (with a couple exceptions). Sometimes a swing understudies a lead like Aspen understudying Extraordinary Girl or Corbin as Whatsername. All clear now?
