That's nifty... They'll probably sing an edited version of "Holiday." That's my guess. :D

And yesterday, Johnny and Esper played a little something different for their guitar solo in honor of Halloween. Didn't quite fit with "Good Riddance" but whatever, they had fun.:)

Omg love it!

This is semi off-topic, but I love how the Good Riddance vocal solos are given to some ensemble members, rather than the main characters. It's a nice way to show off their voices individually since they tend to blend into a group in the actual show.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BCEFA0 release its annual "Carols For A Cure" CD which can be purchased at most, if not all, Broadway theatres. It can also be ordered online at http://broadwaycares.stores.yahoo.net/caforcu20vo1.html.

The CD has holiday-theme songs from the various Broadway shows of the 2009-2010 season as well as some others. The cast of "American Idiot" did the song "Do You Hear What I Hear?" BCEFA is an amazing charity and if you can, please purchase the CD. It's $20. :)

Also, from now until the beginning of December, there will be a collection at Idiot and at other shows to raise money for BCEFA.

I won't post the entire song, because that will defeat the purpose of this post, but I will post a sample to tease you a bit so that you'll order the CD. They do ship internationally.

As Green Day fans, I think you'll find the arrangement interesting.

And if $20 is too much, please feel free to donate as much (or little) as you want at https://www.broadwaycares.org/online_donation. Even $3. :)

omg it's September. <3

also, that is seriously pretty. I don't know the song, but that clip is pretty great.

Pity they don't sell the tracks separately. Because I'm not paying nearly $30 for one song, haha. Good cause or not, I'm still a high school student with no job and not made out of money. Although it would probably only be sold in US iTunes anyway, like the Stand Up To Cancer thing (ohhh I'm still mad/sad about that. I want that track so badly :().

Thanks for posting. :)

You've really never heard Do You Hear What I Hear before ...?! :o Wow, I've been hearing that song every Christmas since I was a baby, I'm quite certain! Different countries, different cultures, I love it.

As for the song itself, OMG. Using Good Riddance as an acoustic backdrop is pure genius, holy shit. I might just buy this when I'm NYC next week! :D

I'm pretty much forcing my mom to go to New York with me in January so I can take her to see this. Buying her aand her boyfriends' plane tickets as a surprise.

Hopefully that will work  She's so stubborn. Like really?! Who declines a free trip to New York to see an amazing play? my mom.
