Sunday , November 14th at 11PM. The place wasn't packed like last week and he actually started reasonably close on time (11:15) and ended at around 12:30. I'm glad that I was able to chat with him a ittle this time before jetting off to make my 1:15 bus. LOL.

Bummer, it was so crowded last week I couldn't enjoy myself scrunched up against a wall. I really wish I hadn't been so tired last night. Thanks for the heads up about the next show. I'll but that on my calendar.

Yeah, it wasn't crowded at all. I got in there at 10:30 and none of the tables were full except for the one with Johnny's family.

Speaking of which, I just have to share this picture:

June (his mom) is so sweet. She was so happy to tell me that she saw St. Billie four times. LOL. She's such a Green Day fan.

Since page 255 I haven't read anything (but this page), because I was gone... has there been any exciting news or anything? Thanks (:

There's a website that makes abridged version of Broadway musicals. Of course, it's joke and everything... anyways, they did "American Idiot."

That is simply hilarious.

Critically Important Rock Opera.

GUY NOT ON COUCH

Sure, I'm not on a couch or anything! lolol.

I saw the show for the third time in a month this past Saturday night and once again it kicked ass. I brought my daughter and little sister and they not only LOVED the show but were able to meet a lot of the amazing cast afterwards. what a lovely group, and i'm so glad we went to see it again. :) The understudies that were on were REALLY fabulous and it was cool to see the parts played by someone else. Can't wait to go back again next month :)

anyone know what's going on with Leslie? heard she got hurt mid show tonight

So I'm guessing Aspen went on for Leslie...?

@aspenvincent: Wow that was wild! One minute I'm watching the show and the next I'm in a sequin dress with no makeup on doing 'favorite son'! Wheee!!!

I was told the only understudies tonight were Van as Johnny, Omar as Brian, and the mid-show replacement of Aspen as Leslie.

Wow, that's wild. I hope Leslie is ok.

There have been wild crazy mid-show replacements in the past.

The first one was the show after the Tonys when Kobak went on for Brian during Rebel. Kobak thought the show was at 8 not 7 so he wasn't there by warm-ups At 6 so they called him & told him he didn't have to come in and take the night off. And then at 7:15, they called him again for him to get to the theatre ASAP. He rode his bike in, hopped into wardrobe, and ran on stage for Rebel. Omar was on for Declan but since Omar knew Brian's track better than Kobak, they switched after Rebel.

Another crazy time was a few weeks ago. Alysha and Aspen were out so they had Corbin covering Alysha's track. However, Corbin was also sick. So she ended up switching it up with Lorin for Favorite Son and other songs. Then, Too Much Too Soon came up & they weren't quite sure who was going to sing it. Since Lorin was the only swing back in Berkeley, she had understudied it before but never went on. She was waiting in the wings but Corbin eventually did it. Afterwards, Lorin did most of the track.

Isn't Mary Faber going to be in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying next year? Daniel Radcliffe is being joined by John Laroquette in the cast. I love Laroquette. And I saw Daniel Radcliffe in Equus and he was really good, I was very happy with his performance.

B'way World Article here.

thanks for posting this, looks like i know when my next trip to NYC will be :)

I saw Daniel Radcliffe in Equus too, and he did a wonderful job, I would love to see him in another show. Richard Griffiths was amazing as well.

If AI somehow gets extended through March I'll get to see it for a 4th time :D

I just realized, six months ago today (i guess yesterday technically) AI opened on Broadway. How does time go by so fast? :(

on Friday, October 29, there is apparently two evening performances. It's supposed to be a special event.

Does anyone know why yet? I am debating whether I should purchase tickets or not.

The main reason there are two shows on Friday the 29th is because they don't have an evening show on the 31st so the cast can go out for Halloween.

But here's the little special thing that they're doing for the 29th.

Fans Invited to Dress Like an Idiot for Special Halloween Contest

American Idiot and The Hard Rock Café in Times Square have announced a special pre-show Halloween contest, available to has anyone who has tickets to the 10 PM Idiot performance on Oct. 29 and is willing to dress like an "Idiot."

The contest will be held at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square from 8-9:30 PM on Oct. 29 and will be judged by a panel of American Idiot cast members. The winner will receive a front-row upgrade for two to the 10 PM performance that evening, an American Idiot gift package and a $100 gift certificate to the Hard Rock Café.

Special "Idiot" drinks and a full menu will be available during the contest.

American Idiot will be playing two shows Oct. 29, at 6:30 PM and 10 PM. A special Halloween discount is available to both performances of the Green Day punk rock musical, with the code AIOCT29. The code may be redeemed by calling (212) 947-8844 or by going to the St. James Theatre box office at 246 West 44th Street.

The Hard Rock Café in Times Square is located at 1501 Broadway. Proof of ticket purchase for the 10 PM Oct. 29 show must be shown in order to be eligible for contest prizes.

Yay! Congratulations to Miss Aspen for (finally) going on for Extraordinary Girl tonight. :)

Yay! Hope that went well for her. She's always tweeting about being nervous about the flying - she must not be fond of heights. I haven't seen anyone except Christina in this role - would be interesting to see another actor flying with Stark!
