I'd love to see it. It's just not that easy going to NYC from northern Minnesota.

I know. Believe me, I know. I'm sending good luck vibes to you that you'll be able to see the show!

There is a very high possibility that I'm seeing this on the 19th right before the 92nd Street Y thing.

I'm going by myself, which is gonna be pretty awkward but, I think I'm gonna see hella people from GDC there that is also going to the 92nd Street thing as well.

So, I don't think it's gonna be that bad.

Going to a show alone is not that bad. It's not like you're going to be talking during the performance. Besides, you'll bump into GDCers there. No doubt for a refresher show.

I'll be at that performance, too, and I know several others who are going to that one. So you'll have company in the room if not sitting right next to you :). And I still think we should arrange a meet up for lunch or for after the interview. I just don't have time to arrange it, but if someone else will do so, I'll make a point of being there.

By the way, if you want to make the 19th last longer, you can go to John Gallagher Jr.'S gig at Rockwood Music Hall at 11PM. He moved it from the 12th to the 19th. His music is great and you can talk to him afterwards. Plus, there's a possibility of Billie showing up since it's after the talkback. :)

Thanks for posting

I wouldn't say it was one of their best, but it wasn't bad (: I liked the background during Letterbomb. Although it wasn't very lively, Letterbomb, that is...

Is it just me, or does Rebecca sing a little slower than the music in Letterbomb? (and the rest of the girls too, sometimes). It's not the first time I noticed it, but maybe it's just me. And in general, that sometimes the cast will sing just a little slower than the music. I suppose it's meant to be that way, but I just noticed it....

Or maybe I'm just weird and I'm hearing things that aren't there..

You should definitely come :woot:

I'm doing the same thing as you, I bought a ticket for the 19th the other day and I'm going alone too. But we're not really going to be alone because of all us GDCers who'll be there. :)

Sorry if this has been posted before. It's an interview from way back in March.

I know I've said this before, but I really do wish I lived A LOT CLOSER TO NYC!!

Ugh that must suck. :(

I'm 30 minutes from the city and have been for almost three weeks, it's just the money situation that's kept me from going earlier.

Awesome. I'd love to meet you.

Aw, I was thinking about some type of a eating meetup either before or after the interview. That would be sweet.

You should definitely come :woot:

The cast of 'American Idiot' will be performing on Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday the 15th (it's actually 12:35 am on Thursday, but yeah...) It's all part of Jimmy's Broadway Week.

OMGOMGOMGOMG.

So the show is pretty much amazing.

John Gallagher, I love you. Just saying.

Me and my friend stage-doored, but only a few ensemble people and two main people (the girls) came out. Which sucked, because I wanted to meet Michael, but oh well.

And omg. Funny story. We weren't sure where the stage door was, so we just followed this group of people through these back doors and literally ended up backstage. And then the people came to an office and the guy was like "can I help you folks?" and they're like "we're friends of John..." and we just looked at each other like  "Oh shit. I don't think we're supposed to be back here." so we hightailed it out of there and had some major lulz about the fact that we just casually walked backstage without intending to.

PICTURES!

Me and my friend were both like "OMG you're amazing!" and she was like "Oh, thank you!" and then we both got pics with her.

Does anybody know if there's still going to be a lottery next week, even with the special idiotu discounts?

I'm almost sure there's always a lottery. But with this show it could be different.

I'm literally seeing the show every weekend this month. I think it's my 16th time on Broadway tomorrow... Heh...

Anyways, I saw it last Saturday with my friend. She really wanted to visit the backstage so we asked my friend at stagedoor and he said "Sure." We were walking around the stage when Omar came in with a group of students for a Q&A so we went and looked around in the wings for a bit before leaving. Nothing too long. We chatted with Eric, the props manager, who let us look at some of the props, including St. Jimmy's "Bang" gun and one of Will & Heather's babies, which my friend and I got a picture with. So creepy.

Here are just the two pictures that I took:
